Chapter 2921 Arrival Safely

The three-day appointment had arrived, and the Thirteenth Prince, disguised as a grain merchant, arrived at the dock on time with a pre-prepared carriage. The Green-Clad Hall Master and his men were already waiting there. Upon seeing the Thirteenth Prince, they didn't ask any questions. After a while, several women jumped out from the shadows, and the Thirteenth Prince realized that someone had been following him all along. Fortunately, he had prepared a day in advance.

After several women whispered a few words in the Green-Clad Hall Master's ear, his expression gradually relaxed.

Thirteenth Master approached the green-robed hall master with obsequiousness and introduced, "I have prepared all the goods the hall master requested. The medicinal herbs are also prepared according to the hall master's instructions, and they are all top-quality hemostatic and wound-healing medicines..."

The green-robed gang leader didn't say much when he saw the Thirteenth Master. After personally counting the quantity of goods, he drew a dagger from his waist and stabbed at the grain bags on the carriage. White rice grains poured out of the hole. The green-robed gang leader grabbed a handful, smelled it, and then cut open a few other bags before putting away the dagger.

The Green-Clad Hall Master walked to the medicine boxes behind the carriage. Thirteenth Prince quickly rushed forward and opened the box for him. The first box was full of herbs. The Green-Clad Hall Master reached in and stirred them for a while before withdrawing his hand and nodding to the woman behind him.

The woman grabbed a handful of herbs, examined them carefully in her palm, and then smelled them before whispering to the green-robed hall master, "Reporting to the hall master, these are indeed top-quality herbs..."

The Green-Clad Hall Master nodded in satisfaction. Thirteenth Master immediately chimed in, seeking praise from behind, "Hall Master, rest assured, I'm absolutely reliable. I put a lot of effort into these medicinal herbs; I even traveled to several counties..." Before Thirteenth Master could finish, the Green-Clad Hall Master impatiently interrupted, "Enough, enough... I understand. I'll speak to the master for you; you won't be shortchanged by a single penny..."

Thirteenth Master immediately beamed with joy and scurried around to prepare for the Green-Clad Hall Master to open the box and inspect the goods.

Seeing the Thirteenth Master's greedy face, the Green-Clad Hall Master suddenly felt disgusted and waved his hand, saying, "Enough, enough, I doubt you'd dare to lie..."

Thirteenth Master nodded and bowed, echoing, "How dare I? I'm hoping the Hall Master will put in a good word for me with our master so I can earn more money..."

The green-clad leader rolled his eyes, ignored the Thirteenth Master, and walked directly to the shore to direct his servants to unload the goods onto the ship.

Thirteenth Master stood on the shore until the boat slowly sailed away. After the terrifying scene just now, Thirteenth Master was even more worried about Seventeenth Master in the box. He prayed in his heart that Seventeenth Master would arrive safely and find Fourteenth Master in time so that Fourteenth Master would change his mind.

Several hours later, the cargo ship arrived safely at the island. Seventeenth Master was already dizzy and disoriented inside the box. He was rocked for a while before he felt himself land. He could only hear people talking outside the box.

"Master, what should we do with all this grain and medicine?" It was a maid's voice.

"Move everything to the warehouse. I've reported to the sect leader and asked the healers to bring the medicinal herbs... These things are hard-won, so we must take good care of them. There aren't enough people on the island right now, so you guys should put the goods away and then go help move the wounded..." The Green-Clad Hall Master arranged in an orderly manner.

Then there was another shaking. Seventeenth Master endured the nausea and held on until there was no movement outside the box before he dared to breathe heavily.

The footsteps faded away, the door closed, and finally, the house fell silent.

Seventeen carefully opened the box, looked around, and then whistled.

Several other boxes in the room began to shake, and one by one they were slowly opened and their contents were poked out.

Seventeenth Master was the first to emerge, followed by the others who had been hiding in the box with him...
