Chapter 2926 Disguised as a Woman

Seventeenth Master and a few others took out the women's clothing that had been prepared in advance from the medicine box. These women's clothes were prepared by Fourteenth Master himself. Only Fourteenth Master had been to the island, seen the women on the island, and knew how these women usually dressed.

The Seventeenth Prince was initially somewhat resistant, but the Fourteenth Prince insisted that they dress as men after arriving on the island. The Seventeenth Prince glanced at the white robe and bamboo hat in the guard's hands, gritted his teeth, and quickly changed out.

Sure enough, several burly men changed into white women's clothing and put on straw hats, looking quite comical. The Seventeenth Prince tugged at his clothes, coughed awkwardly a few times, glanced at the others, and couldn't help but laugh. To avoid drawing attention, the Seventeenth Prince deliberately shrank back, extended a stiff, delicate hand from his sleeve, and commanded in a low voice, "Don't be so stiff, you don't look like women!"

The guards exchanged glances, stretched their limbs, then twisted into a ball, finally giving the Seventeenth Prince a wink. The Seventeenth Prince felt nauseous at the sight, and finally waved his hand helplessly, pointing to his bamboo hat, and said painfully, "You'd better cover your faces quickly, I'm afraid you'll scare people when you go out..."

Led by the Seventeenth Master, the several strangely behaving "women" sneaked out of the warehouse and headed into the jungle.

The island was very large, covered with wild grass and jungle. Seventeenth Master searched around but found no footprints or paths, and couldn't find a way out for a while.

The guards tasked with scouting finally discovered a very well-hidden and inconspicuous path through a tiny fold in the tree branch. After much deliberation, the Seventeenth Prince, faced with the only possible route, ultimately decided to abandon it. Since this path led uphill, it meant he would inevitably encounter members of the White Lotus Cult. Fearing exposure, the Seventeenth Prince decided to forge a new path himself.

At this moment, the guard who had gone to scout the way returned, excitedly pointing in the direction of the mountain and saying to the Seventeenth Prince, "Reporting to the Seventeenth Prince, this servant just went up and discovered another path that connects to the original main road. Perhaps we can go up through this path, and we certainly won't encounter the White Lotus Sect..."

The Seventeenth Prince looked around, hesitant. A guard bowed and urged, "Seventeenth Prince, we can give it a try..." The Seventeenth Prince frowned worriedly, "We're not familiar with the island's environment. If we go up the mountain without thoroughly scouting it, I'm afraid we'll get lost..."

However, waiting in place was not a good idea. Seeing that several guards suggested going up the mountain first, the Seventeenth Prince had no choice but to agree. The group climbed the mountain with difficulty, crawling and feeling their way along the weeds and trees.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, the Seventeenth Prince stopped, panting heavily. Looking at the endless jungle ahead, he felt a sense of despair. The guards who had scouted ahead could no longer find the way back to the original path. Clearly, the Seventeenth Prince and his men were lost.

Seventeenth Master didn't blame him; the island was intricate and complicated, and the trees interfered with his sense of direction.

The guard walked up to the Seventeenth Prince, wiped the sweat from his brow, and said apologetically, "Seventeenth Prince, what do we do now? Should we go back the way we came..."

Seventeenth Master shook his head, stood up, found a high point, looked down the mountain, and sighed, "Even if we wanted to go back, it would be difficult... Since we're here, let's make the best of it and think of another way..."

The guard glanced at the sky worriedly and said uneasily, "Seventeenth Master, it's getting dark, and night will fall soon..." The Seventeenth Master stood up, dusted himself off, and shouted, "Let's go, let's keep going and see if we can find a farmer's house. It seems we'll have to spend the night in the forest..."
