When A Luo arrived at the kitchen, she said to the people in the kitchen, "I'll make a bowl of hangover soup."
The people in the kitchen didn't recognize A-Luo. A chef, who seemed to be in charge, came out and asked, "Who are you?"
A'Luo was in a bad mood and said somewhat impatiently, "I am the personal maid of the concubine. The concubine needs a hangover soup."
Upon hearing that it was the concubine's personal maid, the chef immediately put on a smiling face and said, "So you're the concubine's personal maid. The hangover soup will be here shortly."
Aro nodded and waved her hand, saying, "Hurry up!"
A'Luo ordered some hangover soup from the kitchen and happened to run into two maids coming from the main courtyard. They were also there for hangover soup. One of them was Zixun, Fucha Mingyu's personal maid. As soon as she entered, Zixun called out, "Give me a bowl of hangover soup."
The chef had just handed A'Luo her hangover soup when he saw another person arrive who also wanted hangover soup. He guessed that this person was probably one of the main wife's people, so he quickly went up to her and said, "Please wait a moment, young lady, I'll make the hangover soup right away."
A'Luo didn't know Zi Xun, but she guessed that she was from the main courtyard. She also remembered that Xue Ying had asked her to deliver the hangover soup to the east courtyard, so A'Luo thought she might as well just give it to Zi Xun directly, saving herself the trouble of making the trip.
A Luo walked over to Zi Xun with a bowl of hangover soup and handed it to her. As soon as Zi Xun saw A Luo, she noticed the hangover soup in her hand.
"Who are you?" Zi Xun asked.
A'luo said, "I am the personal maid of the concubine."
Zi Xun then said sarcastically, "What are you doing with the hangover soup? This Prince didn't go to the East Courtyard, but he went to our Fujin's place. Could it be that the concubine couldn't wait for the Prince and got drunk, so she wants to drink the hangover soup?"
A'lu suppressed her temper and said, "The concubine asked me to come and get the hangover soup and deliver it to the principal wife. I guess you two must be the principal wife's people, so I'll give this soup to you so I don't have to go."
Zi Xun said, "Forget it, our Fujin wouldn't stoop to taking other people's things, she thinks they're dirty!"
A'Luo angrily retorted, "What did you say! Who are you calling dirty! Say it again if you dare!"
Zi Xun said, "What's wrong with you?!"
The kitchen staff, seeing that the two families were already arguing on their first day, just stood by and watched the spectacle, none of them trying to intervene.
A'Luo was so angry that she wanted to throw the soup in her hand into Zi Xun's hands, but her princess told her to be patient. After all, Xue Ying was a concubine, and her aunt was a mortal enemy of the prince's mother. If she started a fight with the principal wife as soon as she entered the household, it might not be good for her future days in the mansion.
A Luo had no choice but to ignore Zi Xun's provocation. "I'm too lazy to argue with you. You don't want it, huh? Fine, I'll take it."
As A Luo was about to leave the kitchen with the hangover soup, Zi Xun raised her hand to stop her. "Stop."
A'Luo looked at her and asked, "What are you going to do?"
Zi Xun walked up to her, looked at her and said, "What do you think?" Then Zi Xun raised her hand and knocked the hangover soup out of A Luo's hand, spilling the soup all over A Luo.
"Ah!" A Luo screamed. The hangover soup was still scalding hot, and it stung like needles when it was poured on her.
"You!" A'Luo glared at Zi Xun.
"What do you mean, 'you'? Let me tell you, you'd better be more respectful to me from now on. You're just a dog by the side of the concubine, what's there to be so arrogant about? Next time, it won't be so simple."
