"Sun, get up," Lanqin said indifferently.
She wasn't the Empress, so there was no need for her to pretend to be virtuous and put new women in the Fourth Prince's bed. Besides, she didn't want anyone to share the Fourth Prince with her at all.
“Your Majesty, I have been in the palace for almost half a year, and have been staying in Chuxiu Palace. I think it would be better to serve by the side of the Noble Consort than to be stuck in Chuxiu Palace,” said Consort Sun.
Lanqin glanced at Cui Niang, expressing her helplessness at Sun Yingying's initiative in coming to her door to ask for a hug.
“Consort Sun, Her Highness the Imperial Concubine has no need for any service; there are dozens of palace servants here. I wonder what Consort Sun intends to serve Her Highness?” Cui Niang asked.
Sun Yingying blushed instantly at Cui Niang's words.

Sun Ying finally sat down with a slightly better expression. Lanqin then asked her about life in Chuxiu Palace, but it was just a formality, like that of a noble concubine.
After talking for a while, Sun agreed to take his leave.
“Your Majesty, Consort Sun is determined to compete, but I’m afraid she’ll be another troublemaker,” said Consort Cui. “Her family background is the best among the three, so I’m afraid she won’t be content.”
"Whatever she plans to do, I'll say it again: if Your Majesty goes on his own, I won't stop you, but don't expect me to act as a go-between for them," Lanqin said wearily.
Meanwhile, Sun walked along with a gloomy expression.
Zhu'er dared not say much. The humiliation she had just suffered at the hands of Consort Xi was something she had never experienced before. Consort Sun was a pampered young lady at home, and now that she had been rejected to her face, she was losing face.
I had just returned to Chuxiu Palace when I ran into Caixiang coming out of there.
“Consort Sun, I’ve been looking for you for a long time,” Cai Xiang said. “Our esteemed guest invites you to come over for tea.”
Sun agreed that she had been rebuffed by Lanqin, but now that someone had invited her, she felt a little better.
“Then let’s go, Pearl. Help me to pay my respects to Consort Fucha,” Consort Sun said with a smile.
The three of them headed towards Zhongcui Palace.
When Sun arrived at Zhongcui Palace, Consort Fucha was already at the entrance.
"Why are you still standing here, dear sister? You're making me feel so bad," Sun replied.

"Then how will the younger sister come to see her older sister?" Fucha asked.
Consort Sun was still relatively new to the palace, and she was caught off guard by Fucha's question.
"Haha, look at you, little sister, I was just joking with you. Come on, come inside with me." Fucha laughed, and pulled Sun Daying inside.
After they were seated, Lady Fucha ordered someone to serve tea to Consort Sun.
Consort Sun took a sip and frowned. The tea here was so bad, seemingly even worse than the tea at her own place. Actually, the tea at Consort Fucha's place was the same as Consort Sun's, but having just drunk good tea at Changchun Palace, this inferior tea now seemed even worse than before.
Lady Fucha naturally did not miss the expression on Consort Sun's face.
"Sister, the tea is no good. I suppose the tea you have is just as bad," Fucha said with a sneer.
