"Mother!"
Hongzhou, dressed in a green brocade robe with a white four-clawed dragon belt around his waist, entered Rongyi Courtyard with light steps.
"Hongzhou, come to your mother." Madam Geng said, sitting on the daybed beside the bed with a gloomy expression.
"Mother, why aren't you having your meal?" Hongzhou walked over to Gengshi and sat down beside her, asking. It turned out that Hongzhou and Wukuzhashi sent someone to invite Gengshi to have a meal together every day, just like an ordinary family, and they lived a very harmonious life.

When Hongzhou invited Gengshi to the main courtyard, Wukuzhashi had already ordered a meal to be prepared.
"Mother, please sit here." Wu Kuzha quickly stepped forward to help Geng.
The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law got along quite well. Wu Kuzha came from a prestigious family, but she had an extremely good temperament and was very respectful to Geng, showing no disdain for her mother-in-law's humble origins.
When Lady Geng saw the table full of delicacies, all of which were her favorites, she nodded to Lady Wukuza and said in a kind tone, "Yuzhen, the meals you prepare always suit my taste."

The couple exchanged a smile, everything was in perfect harmony. Wu Kuzha knew that Geng Shi was in a bad mood after meeting the aunt from the palace, so she had already mentioned it to Hong Zhou beforehand.
Although Hongzhou didn't understand what Aunt Cui from the palace had said to his mother that made her mood change from sunny to gloomy.
"I am content with your harmonious relationship, young couple. Please sit down," Geng said with a smile.
"Mother, this Eight Treasure Duck is very well made, please try it!" Hongzhou personally picked up a piece of duck meat and handed it to Geng Shi.
"Mother, this fish fillet is also very well made!" Wu Kuzha also put a piece of fish into Geng's bowl.

Wu Kuzha glared at Hongzhou, but a smile still played on her lips. "Alright, you love to talk nonsense. Now give your mother a baby!" Geng tapped Hongzhou's head with her chopsticks.
The atmosphere immediately improved, and Geng Shi, Hong Zhou, and her daughter-in-law Wu Kuzha Shi dined together, chatting and laughing, as if the unpleasantness in her heart had dissipated.
