Chapter 3533 Jealousy

The next day, on the grassland at dawn, the sun had just risen above the horizon, and a huge white light separated the earth and the sky. More than a hundred soldiers were already waiting in front of the tent, and Xueying had changed into the soldiers' clothes and mingled among them.

"Let's go!" At the command, the crisp sound of horses' hooves rang out one after another as the procession moved forward. Xueying rode her horse to Hongli's side and rode alongside him.

"How are you adapting to marching with the army?" Hongli's gentle voice reached Xueying's ears. She replied softly, "Normally, I can only watch from afar, but now, going to hunt yaks with you all, I feel a surge of courage from the bottom of my heart!"

Hongli smiled gently, like a ray of warm sunshine in winter. The group moved forward slowly, with Pichu following closely beside Xueying, telling her interesting stories about the grasslands.

Pichu excitedly pointed to an animal in the distance, "Master, look, that's a camel. You rarely see them. It must be because you've come that it's appeared."

Following the direction Pichu was pointing, Xueying saw an animal with a small head, a thick, long neck, brown fur, and hooves as large as plates. She exclaimed sincerely, "So beautiful!"

Xueying, who usually stayed in the palace, had no idea about these animals and couldn't help but be curious about these animals of all sizes running across the grassland.

Seeing that Xueying was quite interested, Pichu continued, "Master doesn't know that this camel is a divine beast that sustains our grasslands!" Xueying's eyes lit up as she waited for Pichu to continue.

"The Northwest grasslands are arid, and the transportation of food and water relies entirely on camels. And you didn't know that camels can also store food themselves!"

Xueying gazed at the camel, her eyes sparkling, "Storing food?"

Seeing Xueying's curious expression, Pichu explained, "Yes, camels have very large stomachs, so they can survive without food and water."

Hongli, standing to the side, had a gloomy face, completely out of place with the harmonious atmosphere on the other side.

Hongli began to regret saving Pichu in the first place. Pichu was constantly by Xueying's side under the guise of protecting her, which was incredibly annoying…

Hongli kicked his horse, approached Xueying, and said calmly, though he was seething inside, "What are you two talking about? Why are you so happy?"

Xueying turned her head and smiled at Hongli, pointing in the direction they had just come from, "We were talking about that camel!"

Looking back, the camel was gone. "Hey, where's the camel? It was just here!"

Pichu, through the snow cherry blossoms, teased, "Could it be that the Prince has arrived and scared the camels away?"

Hongli's gloomy face grew even more sinister. "So Pichu was telling Xueying about camels! Should we tell the soldiers about them too? They've all come from the capital, and they're quite curious about the animals of the grasslands!"

Pichu shut his mouth and stopped talking.

Hongli was quite satisfied with Pichu's reaction, a slight smile playing on his lips. Xueying, seeing Pichu being bullied, couldn't help but chime in, "Your Highness, were you jealous just now?"

Hongli stared at Xueying with an incredulous expression. She had actually seen through him! She was his concubine! Anger rose within him. He regretted bringing her along. Without answering, Hongli turned away with a sullen face.

“Master, there is another animal on this grassland called clouded leopard. They are more dangerous than wolves, but their numbers are not as many as wolves…” Pichu continued to tell Xueying.
