Chapter 3535 Something's Wrong

Xueying was worried about Hongli's safety, but she really couldn't handle the situation herself, so she hid behind her subordinate and watched Hongli charge into battle.

Then, she turned to look at Pichu beside her.

Pichu were originally a people of this grassland, so in Xueying's eyes, Pichu were exceptionally brave among the cattle. In the short time that followed, they had already killed more than a dozen strong yaks.

But just as Xueying was cheering for Pichu and putting her mind at ease, Pichu was suddenly knocked off his horse by a ferocious bull while chasing after it. He was then nearly gored in the waist by the bull's horns, but he was still surrounded by several yaks.

Pichu knew things were going badly. Surrounded by these aggressive yaks, even this Hun was at a loss.

Xueying was shocked. How could she not care about Pichu's predicament?

Xueying quickly shouted, "Help! Pichu is surrounded by yaks! Someone, please come and save him!"

Pichu heard Xueying plead for help on his behalf. He knew that with about a hundred people fighting against these ferocious yaks, everyone should be on edge. But he was holding them back. His eyes widened in anger, and he became even more courageous and fearless.

Having entrusted Xueying to his subordinates, Hongli was now free of worries and engaged in a struggle with two yaks. However, he was momentarily distracted by Xueying's cries and realized he was in trouble, nearly being knocked off his horse by a yak.

Although Hongli was not knocked off his horse by the yak, he suffered a considerable impact to his chest and abdomen. Seeing this, his subordinates called for everyone to move closer to him.

The soldiers automatically formed a circle, preparing to escort Hongli away from the herd of cattle.

Xueying noticed that Hongli was on the verge of fainting, and quickly ran towards him with her subordinates. When she saw Hongli still smiling at her, her tears finally fell like a taut beaded curtain.

"Hongli, it's all my fault. It was my loud shouting that distracted you and caused you to get hurt..." Xueying said while crying. As intelligent as she was, how could she not know that the moment she shouted, Hongli looked at her immediately?

Seeing Xueying's red eyes from crying, Hongli quickly stroked her head and said haltingly, "I'm fine."

Xueying looked at Hongli, who was still putting on a brave face, and cried even harder. However, no matter how sad she was, she needed to get Hongli out of this dangerous place first. Xueying sent a small team to escort Hongli away, while the others continued to hunt yaks.

Pichu also noticed what was happening on Hongli's side, but he himself was in danger, so his priority was to break through the encirclement.

So he summoned the fierce fighting spirit unique to the people of the grasslands and began to maneuver among the yaks that were attacking him, fighting alone against their combined assault. But before long, he had several bruises on his body.

Alone, without the tough skin of a yak or the sharp teeth of a wild beast, he soon began to bleed profusely. Yet his eyes remained resolute, and his movements continued with unwavering ferocity.

In the end, the yaks seemed to have exhausted their energy, and were also frightened by the man's spirit. They retreated and dared not attack again.
