It turned out that the well-behaved and gentle woman was Su Lufu, a daughter of the prestigious Su family in Yangzhou, Jiangnan. The woman in blue was Gao Xiyue, the eldest daughter of the powerful Gao family in the north.

Finally, they arrived at the inn. Gao Xiyue was staying at the best inn in the capital—Fulimen. As soon as she entered, the waiters fawned over her, clearing a path for her. Su Lufu let Gao Xiyue pull her along, looking left and right. The inn was filled with women of all shapes and sizes, their delicate faces and fragrant perfumes filling the air. Everyone looked excited, chatting amongst themselves, and casting curious glances at Gao Xiyue and Su Lufu as they entered.
Gao Xiyue led Su Lufu to a room on the second floor, opened the door and said to Su Lufu, "You'll stay here! I'm next door... We'll be neighbors from now on!"
Su Lufu slowly stepped inside, looking around and finding that the interior was indeed very well-decorated. Her uneasy heart immediately relaxed a lot. She turned to Gao Xiyue and said gratefully, "Thank you so much, Miss Gao. How can I repay you?"
Gao Xiyue smiled and took Su Lu's hand, saying, "What's there to repay? I felt happy the moment I saw you. If you really feel uneasy, then spend more time with me. This is my first time in the capital, and I don't know anyone. Meeting you means we are destined to meet..."
Su Lufu felt a warmth in her heart. She had suffered a lot of grievances along the way, and Gao Xiyue's help had relieved her immediate crisis, so she naturally felt a special fondness for Gao Xiyue. Hearing Gao Xiyue say this, she nodded, which made Gao Xiyue happy and spun around the room.
