Lanqin silently scoffed inwardly. Compared to that Uya clanswoman, she was far inferior. If she were in that situation, she wondered who the Fourth Prince would protect.
Lady Nian stared at the Fourth Prince in astonishment. She was thrilled to hear about saving the child, and then, through Lady Wuya's death, to "expose" the culprit who had caused Lady Wuya to become so overweight. But now, the Fourth Prince was actually going to save the adult.
Upon receiving this instruction from Fourth Master, Doctor Lin immediately went inside.
Fourth Master stared at the door with a sinister look on his face. Everyone else was standing there, and no one dared to leave first.
Lanqin walked to Song's side, tugged at her sleeve, and comforted her, "It's alright, sister, you don't need to worry about it."
Madam Song nodded and said, "Why did she suddenly have a fit? Master was very unhappy. Qin'er, thank you for getting me out of that situation earlier."

Fourth Master nodded. Seeing this, Lanqin pulled Song Shi along and walked towards the side room. She certainly didn't want to stand there and watch; that would only be torture and mockery for her time and time again.
Wu followed Lanqin and the others to the side room to rest, while Nian did not follow. She looked at the Fourth Prince, secretly seething with jealousy. His words about protecting the adult had been incredibly provocative.
"My lord, I have something I wish to say to you," said Madam Nian as she approached the Fourth Prince. She appeared quite troubled, as if she had no other choice but to speak.
"Speak!" Fourth Master's face was extremely grim.
“I’ve noticed that Sister Wuya’s appetite has suddenly improved, which is related to the tonics she drinks daily. Sister Wuya already knows about this, but she’s too shy and afraid to speak up because of her lowly status. I discovered that someone put something in her tonics to stimulate her appetite. That’s why Sister Wuya’s appetite has remained so strong. Master, someone is deliberately making Sister Wuya gain weight so that she won’t be able to give birth easily. If it weren’t for the baby being too fat to deliver, perhaps both mother and child could have survived,” said Madam Nian.
Upon hearing this, Fourth Master couldn't help but exclaim, "Who on earth is so vicious!"
At this moment, the Fourth Prince's heart was plunged into endless darkness! He went through all the women in the inner quarters in his mind, but he could not figure out who was so scheming as to have already made a move against Lady Wuya.
"Master!"
Just then, the door was pushed open from the inside out! Dr. Lin came out covered in blood.
"Reporting to Your Majesty, the master is safe, but the child has passed away," Doctor Lin said, bowing his head.
Before Fourth Master could finish speaking, he had already brushed past Doctor Lin.
The woman's heart-wrenching cries could be heard from inside the house!
"My daughter!" Uya held a small body wrapped in red silk.
"Princess, the little princess has already passed away! Please don't cry anymore, or you'll ruin your health!" Cuiyun advised.
"This is my child, whom I carried for ten months. It's so sad that she was murdered before she was even fully formed. It's so sad that she was only a month away from being full-term, but God had to bring her out in this way. If she had been full-term, I would have risked my own life to give birth to her safely!" Uya said, weeping.
Fourth Master could no longer bear to listen. He stepped forward and said to Wuya, "Wanru, the child is gone. Give her to me first, and we'll give her a proper burial, okay?"
Uya shook her head desperately and said to the Fourth Master in a pitiful voice, "Master, come and touch her, she is still warm."
The Fourth Master felt a chill in his heart, and a surge of anger rose within him as Nian's words from earlier resurfaced in his mind!
"Wanru, someone has laced your tonic with something that stimulates your appetite!" Fourth Master asked.
With tears streaming down her face, Lady Wuya sobbed, "My lord, I only just found out myself. I truly don't know who did this to me? How could they be so intolerant of my child and me? I know I am of lowly status, but this child is yours!"
Fourth Master walked up to Madam Wuya, took the child from her, glanced at it a few times, and then gestured for the midwife to take it out!
"Master, my child." Madam Wuya tried to get up to chase after the child, but was held back by the Fourth Master.
"My lord, I am filled with hatred! You must seek justice for our child!" Uya cried out hoarsely.
The Fourth Prince stayed with Lady Wuya to comfort her, and the others realized that going in now would only backfire! Therefore, they all left.
After returning to her courtyard, Lanqin instructed her maid to help her wash up, and immediately jumped into bed. That day, her heart felt like it was being roasted on fire; she wished she could travel back in time immediately!
Before closing her eyes, Lanqin silently prayed to Buddha in her heart: "Guanyin Bodhisattva, please take me back the way I was brought here!"
