Chapter 3393 Fever

"Your Highness must be hungry. I asked the chef to prepare a good amount of mutton and two steamed buns," A'Luo said with a smile.

"I don't eat mutton, you eat it. I'll just have some soup with some steamed buns," Xueying said.

“Master, you got caught in the rain today. Although you drank ginger soup, your body is not as strong as theirs. You should eat some mutton to warm yourself up,” A Luo said.

"I'm fine. You should eat. Lamb soup can also warm you up," Xueying said. She had never liked strong-smelling foods since she was a child.

Seeing that Xueying insisted on not eating, A'luo had no choice but to eat it herself.

The master and servant drank mutton soup and ate some steamed buns in the carriage.

“My lady, I think the Prince definitely likes you. I can tell from his eyes,” A’Luo said.

"So what? He's always been bothered by my Ulanara family background. His wife fell in love with him at first sight. No matter how good I am, I'm afraid I can't even compare to a single hair on his wife's head," Xueying said sadly.

A'Luo looked at her master in disbelief; these words were nothing like those of Ulanara Xueying.

“My lady, you’re being too pessimistic. I think you’re just late in meeting the Prince,” A’luo said.

"Perhaps," Xueying said.

A Luo didn't know why Xueying's mood had suddenly become so low, so she stopped talking.

The night in the mountains was incredibly quiet.

In the middle of the night, the chirping of insects and croaking of frogs in the wild kept people awake.

"Master, Master." A'Luo heard Xueying's nonsense, turned her head and saw that her face was covered in sweat and she was still talking nonsense.

A Luo reached out and touched Xue Ying's forehead, finding it alarmingly hot.

My master has a fever! He must have gotten caught in the rain during the day!

A Luo thought to herself: What should I do? Should I go find the army doctor at this time?

The key issue is that it's pitch black outside, and the soldiers' resting places aren't as neat and orderly as usual. Where are we supposed to find them?

After thinking about it, A Luo had no choice but to go to Hongli.

She groped her way off the carriage in the dark and, relying on the light of a small campfire, made her way to the carriage where Hongli was resting.

"Your Highness, Your Highness!"

A'Luo stood outside the carriage, calling for Hongli. Unfortunately, he was probably exhausted from the day and was fast asleep.

"Your Highness!"

Aro shouted, refusing to give up.

Hongli was eventually woken up by A'luo. He got up and said to the people outside, "What are you yelling about outside so late?"

"My lord, my mistress has a fever," A'luo said. "This servant doesn't know where the army doctor is now."

Upon hearing that Xueying was ill, Hongli's heart tightened, and he immediately climbed out of the carriage.

"Why did you suddenly develop a fever?" Hongli quickly put on his clothes and crawled out.

“It must be because she got caught in the rain during the day. After all, our mistress has never been out like this before. She must have been tired from the journey, and then she got a fever after getting wet in the rain,” A Luo said.

“I know where the military doctor is. Go back and guard your master,” Hongli said hurriedly.

A'Luo nodded and immediately went back in the dark. Hongli pulled the army doctor out from a group of soldiers' tents.

The military doctor was half asleep when he was suddenly pulled up like this. Before he could figure out what was going on, Hongli was dragging him away.

When they arrived at the carriage where Xueying was sleeping, the army doctor learned that someone had a fever.

After taking his pulse and examining him, the military doctor said to Hongli, "He caught a chill. He'll be fine after taking some fever-reducing medicine."

The army doctor said he brought some with him, and he'll find it now, boil it, and it'll be ready to drink.
