The next day
Yunyi woke up exhausted in bed.
Before I even opened my eyes, I touched the spot beside me. It was ice-cold, with no warmth left, so the person must have been gone for a while.
Lost in thought, she lay on the bed for a while before getting up. Her legs were so weak that she stumbled as she got out of bed.
Yesterday's activity was a bit intense, and her legs are still incredibly weak.
Thinking about what happened last night, Yunyi felt a little annoyed. They were about the same age, and she was even a little older, so how come he was so energetic while she was exhausted?

Once Yunyi was seated, Baizhi curtsied and said joyfully, "Congratulations, Princess! This servant wishes you a speedy pregnancy and the birth of a little prince!"
The master and servant share both glory and loss. Knowing that Bai Zhi's words were a beautiful wish for her to have a better life, Yun Yi smiled and accepted her congratulations.
After Bai Zhi finished speaking, she continued, "Your Highness is truly blessed. This morning, when Master got up, he specifically instructed me not to wake you so that you could rest well."
Feeling a little embarrassed, Yunyi thought to herself, "Perhaps Yinzhen thinks I'm too weak?"
She had been exercising all night and couldn't get up in the morning. Yinzhen probably knew this, which is why he told Baizhi not to wake her.

To be honest, Bai Zhi is only fourteen or fifteen years old this year. Because Yun Yi has a low status, she can only have one palace maid to serve her.
So she had to handle all the big and small matters around Yunyi all by herself.
Yunyi felt like a heartless capitalist, ruthlessly exploiting Baizhi, this poor little working woman.

Seeing that her master had finished his meal, Bai Zhi got up, packed everything up, and took it back to the imperial kitchen.
After the meal, Yunyi had nothing to do, so she picked up a book and lay back on the couch to read. Baizhi was not far away and could hear her mistress's instructions at any time.
Yunyi originally intended to tell Baizhi to go and rest, and not to come and serve her, but she insisted on doing some needlework next to Yunyi.
After thinking about it, Yunyi understood and acquiesced.
The two, master and servant, sat quietly. The servant read a book while the servant embroidered, not wanting to disturb each other. Neither of them spoke, and the room was very quiet, with only the rustling sound of Yunyi turning the pages of her book.
As noon approached, two young eunuchs came to the outside.
The two eunuchs bowed to Yunyi before explaining their purpose.
It turned out to be a reward bestowed by Yinzhen. Yunyi was not surprised by the reward, as it was customary for the master to bestow a reward upon a princess on her first night with the emperor.
But the eunuch said that Yinzhen had already given instructions to bestow gifts upon her, and worried that it might disturb her, he specifically instructed the eunuchs to deliver them at noon.
Touched by this thoughtfulness, Yunyi felt a warmth in her heart. She never expected that Yinzhen, who seemed as cold as ice, would be so considerate and attentive.
She smiled and thanked the young eunuch, and only after they left did she curiously open the tray to see what was inside.
Lifting the red cloth covering it, the first thing that catches the eye is a jade hairpin shaped like a flower. It is carved from pure white jade, elegant and simple. Yunyi fell in love with it at first sight.
Looking behind, there are several hairpins, hair ornaments, hair sticks, and other headdresses, as well as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry.
The quantity is quite large, likely exceeding the amount that should be given as a reward.
She was somewhat surprised, guessing that since she hadn't worn anything last night, Yinzhen probably thought she was poor, and that's why he gave her so much jewelry.
After looking at this, Yunyi looked at another tray next to her. This quantity was more normal; it contained some fabrics that could be used in the princess's share.
Knowing full well about these rewards, Yunyi instructed Baizhi to put the jewelry into the dressing box.
She took some moon-white and cyan fabrics to make two new clothes, and carefully put away the rest of the fabric.
Just as I finished tidying up, someone came to the door again. It turned out to be Li Wanrou visiting.
Yunyi had only met Li Wanrou once, yesterday, at Consort De's Yonghe Palace, and she wasn't very familiar with her.
Upon hearing that she had come to visit, Yunyi did not refuse and let her in.
Li Wanrou is still a palace maid and hasn't yet been chosen to serve the emperor, so she's still wearing her maid's clothes.
She entered the inner room and bowed to Yunyi, who had become a princess.
"This servant greets Princess Song."
Yunyi has no conflict with Li Wanrou yet, and doesn't know what kind of person she is, so Yunyi is currently maintaining a friendly attitude.
