Lin Yun looked into his deep eyes, which were filled with tenderness and longing she had never shown to anyone before.
She opened her mouth, her voice barely a whisper: "This humble woman...this humble woman also wishes to Your Majesty..."
Before she could finish speaking, Yongzheng leaned down and kissed her lips.
The kiss came suddenly yet passionately, as if it were pouring out all the emotions in it.
Lin Yun's mind went blank, and she could only passively endure his enthusiasm.
Yongzheng placed his hand heavily on Lin Yun's waist, the intense heat radiating through his palm.
Lin Yun was startled by his sudden movement and leaned back, her head hitting his hand that he had prepared in advance.
Her eyelashes fluttered like startled butterfly wings, and her lips parted slightly as if she wanted to say something, but all her voices were swallowed by him.
His kiss came quickly and fiercely, like a desert traveler finding an oasis. His tongue pried open her gaping teeth and swept across her palate, making her tremble.
Lin Yun's hand rested against his chest, her slender fingers curling up to grip his long robe.
He could feel the fabric crumpling between her fingers.
This seemingly push-and-pull action drove him even crazier, and he grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him.
"Wait..." The moment Lin Yun turned her head away, he chased after her and kissed the side of her neck.
Her skin carried a distinctive floral scent, and her arteries throbbed beneath her lips.
He gently rubbed his tongue against that delicate skin, and heard her gasp as her hand on his waist suddenly tightened.
This reaction sent a shiver down Yongzheng's spine.
He released his grip on her chin and instead ran his fingers through the thick, long hair at the back of her head.
Strands of hair entwined around their fingers like black silk, with a few strands clinging to their joined lips.
Yongzheng pressed her completely against him, their bodies pressed tightly together.
He felt a painful hardness in his body.
"Your Majesty... um..." She tried to speak again, her moist breath brushing against his ear.
The sound was like a match thrown into a pot of oil. He suddenly grabbed her and lifted her up, launching another assault.
After a while, Yongzheng looked up and stared at her lips, which were swollen from being kissed, her hair, which was disheveled, and the glistening water on her collarbone that was exposed from her open collar—all of which were his handiwork.
A primal sense of satisfaction swelled in my chest, but was quickly replaced by a deeper longing.
He lowered his head again, this time kissing slowly and deeply, like savoring a fine vintage wine.
Gradually, he finally calmed down.
Now is not the time.
After a long while, Yongzheng finally released her, pressed his forehead against hers, and whispered, "I will not let you fly away."
Lin Yun was taken aback, but then she understood the deeper meaning behind his words.
She bit her lower lip lightly and whispered, "I am just a mortal, I cannot fly."
Yongzheng chuckled and stroked her cheek with his fingertips: "In my heart, you are a fairy."
"You must never act impulsively again. You are a woman, so you must be careful when you go out. I will not restrict you, but you must think thrice before you act, understand?"
Emperor Yongzheng looked at her with a doting expression.
Lin Yun nodded numbly, still not recovered from the intimacy they had just shared.
Upon seeing this, Yongzheng smiled and said, "I'm going back to the palace now; you don't need to see me off."
He then strode away.
The night breeze swept by, dispelling the previous enchanting scene.
Lin Yun stood there, gazing in the direction he had disappeared, motionless for a long time.
