Princess Twenty-Three, Santana?
Xu Lejin was trying her best to suppress her laughter, her face lowered.

When the Empress Dowager learned that Consort Wen had been promoted to Noble Lady, Consort Ye had been promoted to Consort, and that the Sixth Prince and the Twenty-Third Princess had been given names and assigned their ages, her aged face showed a thoughtful expression.
After a moment, the Empress Dowager said in a deep voice, "Although Consort Yu was originally a palace maid, now that she holds the position of Consort, she has learned to bestow favors upon the lower-ranking concubines."

Sumalagu responded softly, her head bowed as she quickly considered the matter.

A young palace maid serving outside Cining Palace bowed and entered, respectfully kneeling to report, "Reporting to the Empress Dowager, Consort Wan and Consort Ning have arrived."
"Yes, let them in!"
Consort Wan and Consort Ning sat respectfully at the lower end of the table, both with thoughtful expressions on their faces.

The Empress Dowager paused for a moment, then looked meaningfully at Consort Wan and Consort Ning.
"What do you want from me?"
Consort Wan and Consort Ning exchanged a glance, quickly considering their options. "Your Majesty the Empress Dowager," they said, "our concubines, Consort Ning and I, have been in the palace for three years, but we have not been favored by the Emperor and have not been fortunate enough to conceive or give birth to a son or daughter."
"Your concubine and Consort Ning wish to ask the Empress Dowager to grant you permission to raise the Sixth Prince and the Twenty-Third Princess."
After speaking, Consort Wan and Consort Ning lowered their heads, their faces showing anticipation.
Inside the Cining Palace, there was absolute silence; you could hear a pin drop. The Empress Dowager squinted as she observed Consort Wan and Consort Ning.
Every second, every cup of tea, a quarter of an hour later
The Empress Dowager said in a deep voice, "If you want to raise the Sixth Prince and the Twenty-Third Princess, I am naturally happy to grant your wish. However, I'm afraid it will be a bit difficult with the Emperor."
