In the twentieth year of the Yonghe reign, the consort Celing was granted the title of Prince Chaoyong for his military achievements, and Princess Chunque was also promoted to Princess Gulun Chunque because of her husband's status.
In the ninth year of the Qian'an era, Princess Chunque passed away.
According to the "Records of Princesses' Residences" in the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty", Princess Gulun Chunque was one of the two princesses who married into the Mongolian Plateau during the Kangxi Emperor's reign. Although she was the daughter of a concubine, she was promoted to the title of Princess Gulun along with Princess Gulun Kejing, receiving the same treatment as the empress's legitimate daughters.
—————
Princess Ningke Shuyu
Shuyu's birth mother was Changjia. Changjia was originally a palace maid in front of the emperor. She was later granted the title of "Daying" and then promoted to "Chang Guiren" and "Ying Guiren". Later, she was stripped of her title. In the tenth year of the Yonghe reign, she was honored as "Huangfu Changpin".
In the twenty-fifth year of the Kangxi Emperor's reign, Lady Changjia gave birth to Shuyu, who became the twenty-seventh daughter of the Kangxi Emperor and was later named the twenty-fifth princess.
Before the 43rd year of the Kangxi Emperor's reign, Changjia was stripped of her title because her maternal family had offended the emperor. Along with her, Shuyu was also given the title of Princess Ningke of the First Rank by the emperor and married into the Urad tribe.
The Urad tribe was a small tribe among the Mongol tribes at the time, and in principle, they could not marry a princess of the Qing dynasty.
After Shuyu married into the Urad tribe, she was loved and respected by her husband's family and the people of the Urad tribe. She and her husband had three sons and three daughters.
Many years later, when Shuyu was thirty-five years old, her husband passed away. According to the Mongolian custom at the time, Shuyu was required to remarry.
However, at the urging of Empress Dowager Xu Lejin, Emperor Yonghe did not allow Shuyu to remarry. In addition, Emperor Yonghe issued an edict to appoint Shuyu's twelve-year-old eldest son as the new leader of the Urad tribe.
In the twentieth year of the Gan'an era, Shuyu died peacefully in the Urad tribe.
