Chapter 99 Amazing

The crowd fell silent, staring in fascination at the girl or boy before them. It wasn't until Aruna stepped in front of Aon, blocking their view, that the crowd blushed and withdrew their bold gazes, secretly spying on Aon.

"Who is this?" Yinzhen asked expectantly, struggling to look away from that sacred yet eerie face.

“This is my…” Aon interrupted Aruna’s answer. He looked at Aon in surprise, then nodded in agreement.

"Little brother, my name is Arsa." Qingyin lowered her voice, her tone clear yet with a hint of coldness. The slightly awkward Chinese words came out of her mouth with a unique charm, and her pleasant boyish voice instantly captivated the listeners.

The conversation and hints between the two happened in an instant, and Yinzhen did not suspect anything. He thought bitterly how it could be a man, and Yanxin and his group obviously thought the same thing.

On the way back to camp, the group became much quieter. Apart from occasionally glancing at Qingyin and blushing, they didn't make any other moves.

Aruna's face darkened as he looked at these people. He stood in front of his sister and glared back at them one by one.

The soldiers, glared at, scratched their heads and dared not look again, but this tactic had absolutely no effect on Yinzhen. Shameless as ever, he was unfazed by Aluna's glare. He walked enthusiastically to Qingyin's left, chuckling:

"Little brother, are you going to join the army too? Why don't you join my army and be my deputy? Let me tell you, the best treatment is definitely in the Eight Banners Army. If you become my deputy, you'll be completely below me, but above them..."

Qingyin didn't even frown. She said calmly, "I'm with my brother."

Undeterred, Yinzhen slightly altered his words, "Well then, my younger brother and the Ana brothers can both serve as my deputies..."

Standing behind him, Yan Xin dared not look at their general's sycophantic manner. When the general first arrived, he barely even glanced at him, but now he practically had his eyes on Arusa! This glaring difference brought tears to Yan Xin's eyes.

"General Yan, do you know where my brother and I live?" Qingyin asked the slightly older general as she approached him.

"Uh..." Yan Xin's breath hitched as he looked at the stunningly handsome face that was so close to him. It's no wonder that our general is so eager to fawn over him. Young Master Alsa's face is just too amazing, and his overall demeanor is even more noble than that of the noble young masters in the capital.

"Young master, your lodgings should be in the tent next to the Eighth... um, cough, the Great General's tent." Yanxin smoothly changed his words under Yinzhen's threatening gaze.

Qingyin pretended not to notice anything unusual and simply hummed in agreement.

The mountain where they were located was not too far from the Qing army camp. They rode their horses as fast as they could and finally arrived at the Qinghai camp.

Aon and Aluna had already removed their masks; since they were going to be soldiers, it was impossible for them to wear masks.

"Holy crap, our General went out and brought back two beauties!" Chen Qingyue cursed inwardly. He was the second son of Chen Guanming, the Minister of War, a third-rank official. He had been sent to the palace as a companion to the Fourteenth Prince since childhood. When the Fourteenth Prince came to Tibet for aid, he naturally followed along, hoping to earn some military merit by the Fourteenth Prince's side to appease his father.

Yinzhen could tell what Chen Qingyue was thinking just by looking at his surprised expression. He suddenly slapped Chen Qingyue on the shoulder, startling him.

"What are you looking at! These two young masters are my saviors. They live right next to my tent. I'm going to take care of some official business. You take them to the tent first and remember to take good care of them." Yinzhen looked at him sinisterly and emphasized the words "saviors" again.

"Hey, alright, you two young men, come with me." Chen Qingyue put away his joking expression and spoke with a serious face.

Qingyin and Yinzhen nodded slightly, and then followed Chen Qingyue to his residence with Aluna. Perhaps because of Yinzhen's instructions and warnings, Chen Qingyue became much more obedient. Apart from occasionally stealing glances at Qingyin, Chen Qingyue, who was about the same age as Yinzhen, was also a little puzzled when he saw the two young masters who looked exactly alike. Although the two looked the same, he just felt that the one in the back was more stunningly handsome. Just thinking about those deep blue eyes that seemed to be glistening with mist, the young captain in his early twenties, in the prime of his youth, couldn't suppress his impulse, and his dark face couldn't help but darken again.

"Cough cough..." Chen Qingyue subconsciously adopted the most composed posture that his father and mother used to praise him for at home, facing Qingyin.

"Young master, this tent has everything you need. If you need anything, just tell the guards outside. Well... if it's inconvenient for them, you can tell me."

Qingyin raised an eyebrow and smiled, "May I ask how this gentleman is addressed?"

Chen Qingyue's face turned even redder as he met the smiling face. He grinned foolishly and said, "My name is Chen Qingyue. My father is the Minister of War. I am twenty years old and unmarried."

Seeing Chen Qingyue's long-winded explanation that almost revealed the color of his underwear, Aluna's face grew increasingly dark, and she once again glared at Chen Qingyue using both physical cover and mental attacks.

With Qingyin gone, Chen Qingyue seemed to regain some composure. Realizing what he had just said, he muttered an explanation, "Haha, this is a custom of our Great Qing Dynasty, to exchange information and introduce one's family..."

However, no one was willing to believe his explanation. Once they reached the tent, the taciturn Aluna urged the reluctant Chen Qingyue to leave quickly (or rather, get out of here).

Without the chattering Chen Qingyue, the spacious tent became much quieter. Unlike the damp and dark cave, the tent was clearly well-arranged. Not only was there enough room for seven or eight people, but it also had everything: bedding, oil lamps, tables, and more. Aruna pulled Qingyin to sit on a small stool and they were talking in Mongolian.
