Ruxue ran back to her room crying. Rulan saw her and quickly went over: "What's wrong?"
Ru Xue threw herself into Ru Lan's arms and burst into tears, not saying a word, just crying.
Rulan felt extremely distressed seeing this.
"Stop crying, tell me who bullied you, and I'll get revenge for you."
After a while, Ru Xue choked back tears and shook her head: "No...no one bullied me...I..."
He spoke haltingly, which made Rulan feel even more distressed, and she guessed the gist of what had happened.
"Did Rong Ning bully you?"
Ru Xue shook her head: "No, he just didn't agree."
He just doesn't like her; he didn't do anything wrong. She may be sad, but she can't blame him.

Rong Ning is really something. He clearly likes the things Ru Xue gave him, but he rejects Ru Xue after learning the truth. Ru Lan thinks this person is no good; he's too hypocritical.
Rulan could only try to comfort Ruxue.
After comforting him enough, Rulan said, "I think Rong Ning is just a blockhead. Don't cook for him anymore. As for clothes, I don't think he needs anything..."
Ru Xue nodded upon hearing this: "Okay, I'll do whatever you say."
If she keeps chasing after someone who has already rejected her, it would be beneath her dignity.
Although she was still in pain, she didn't want to be too humble. What she had done for Rong Ning was already her limit.
Rulan sighed inwardly, "That's more like it!"
Ru Xue stopped crying, rested for a day, and seemed to have recovered. Then she started to do her job honestly.
Tong Cheng'er is pregnant and needs constant care, so Ru Xue and Ru Lan can't afford to be too distracted by her.
However, in her spare time, Ru Xue still couldn't help but drift off into thought.

The food always tastes bland.

Then Rulan started to get closer to Anwu, who was by Rongning's side. She knew that Anwu and Rongning had a good relationship. Although they were nominally master and servant, they got along like friends.
Then Rulan deliberately revealed that Ruxue's condition was not good recently.
An Wu wasn't particularly stupid. He thought about how Rong Ning hadn't been able to eat lately, and he also thought about Ru Xue who had run away crying that day.
