And so, Tong Cheng'er continued to slack off, but Shumulu eventually found out. She was intentionally training her daughter, so she naturally paid a lot of attention to her. She didn't notice at first, but too many traces were left behind.

When Shumulu discovered this, she wasn't surprised at all. It seemed she was quite used to her daughter's ways of slacking off, but she felt a little helpless.

Looking back, I realize that this is quite a skill; they really went to great lengths to be lazy.

Shumulu sometimes wanted to tell her daughter, "Since you have the ability to find ways to be lazy, what's wrong with moving around more?"

As I thought about it, I couldn't help but sigh again.

Fucha: "Mother, everything you instructed has been arranged."

Shumulu was quite satisfied with her daughter-in-law's abilities, and since she had someone watching over her and no mistakes were made.

"Well done, thank you for your hard work."

Upon hearing this, Lady Fucha felt that all the hard work of the past few days had been worthwhile.

"It's all something a daughter-in-law should do."

"Go back and rest. You'll be busy again tomorrow."

"Daughter-in-law, take your leave."

After Lady Fucha left, Lady Shumulu began to sigh again. The nanny said, "The eldest mistress has been doing a good job, why is the Fujin sighing?"

"Of course I know she's a good person. I'm sighing for Cheng'er. If she were half as hardworking as my eldest daughter-in-law, I wouldn't be sighing."

No matter what she said, she was still worried that her daughter was too lazy.

The old woman was used to the princess worrying about her all day long, and comforted her, saying, "Princess, you don't need to worry. You should trust the princess. Shumulu knew that her daughter was lucky, but as a mother, she always wanted to plan things out for her daughter. If she relied on luck and fortune, what if her luck and fortune ran out one day? Then her daughter would be the one to suffer!
