Tong Cheng'er left Huiyu's place, but didn't go straight back.
"Rulan, come with me for a walk!"
The scenery inside the temple is quite nice. It looks lively from the outside, but it is very quiet inside. It truly lives up to its reputation as an ancient temple. Every plant and tree seems to have a Zen-like quality, and looking at it makes one feel peaceful and serene.
The master and servant walked around, talking from time to time. Usually, Ru Lan would talk while Tong Cheng'er listened, and she would ask more questions when she encountered something that interested her.
The two walked, looked around, and talked, until they arrived near a rather unfamiliar courtyard.
"Where is this place?"
Rulan looked around. This was Tong Cheng'er's first time at Tan Tuo Temple, and she was also new to the place. She wasn't familiar with it. "This servant isn't quite sure either. Princess, we've been out for quite a while now. Let's go back!"
Tong Cheng'er: "Okay."
Just as the two were about to go back, they heard a sound coming from around the corner.
At this moment, at the corner.
Shuyuan thought about the servant's address of "Fourth Master" that she had just heard, and then she saw that the person called "Fourth Master" had a cold expression. She made up her mind and then this chance encounter happened.
"Is the young lady alright?"
Shuyuan: "It's nothing." But she frowned slightly after getting up, and her uncomfortable appearance didn't seem like she was alright.
Seeing her like this, the "Fourth Master" felt somewhat guilty. After all, he was the one who bumped into her, and the girl was all alone.
He wanted to help, but there was a difference between men and women, and it seemed inappropriate for him to do so.
After thinking for a moment, he said to the servant, "Go and find a maid to come here."
The servant accepted the order and left.
"I'll have someone send you back. What happened today was my fault."
Shuyuan said nonchalantly, "It was an accident, and I imagine you didn't want it either, so there's no need for you to feel guilty."
Then the two remained silent.
Tong Cheng'er listened from around the corner and felt that the plot development was quite familiar. She figured that the other person probably didn't want to be seen, so she and Ru Lan decided to avoid them.
If she wanted to go back, she would have to pass through the corner. Now that she needed to avoid it, she could only hide in the small courtyard she had just seen.
The courtyard was quiet and didn't look like anyone was there. As she walked into the courtyard, two people suddenly appeared at the other corner. Judging from their appearance, their purpose was this courtyard.
Tong Cheng'er stopped in her tracks.
After returning from Xingyin's place, Yinzhen planned to have a meal at the temporary residence. However, he saw two people in front of the courtyard gate. Judging from their appearance, they were two young girls. He frowned and wondered which family's daughters they were, running around so recklessly, without fear of ruining their reputation.
As I approached and was about to speak, I heard a voice coming from around the corner.
"Is your foot alright?"
Shuyuan squeaked, then said in a soft and charming voice, "I think I twisted my ankle."
Upon hearing the voice, "Fourth Master" seemed a little uncomfortable. He coughed lightly and then said, "Would you like me to help you to the pavilion over there to rest for a while?" After all, standing like this, especially with a twisted ankle, wasn't quite appropriate.
Shuyuan blushed and said, half-heartedly, "Then... then I'll have to trouble you, young master."
Seeing the beautiful woman's shy and charming demeanor, "Fourth Master" couldn't help but feel a little distracted. He then helped her to a nearby pavilion.
After a series of footsteps, presumably indicating that the two had left, Yinzhen frowned and instructed Su Peisheng, "Go and find out who they are."
This is a temple, and it's near his territory, so flirting is really inappropriate.
Su Peisheng accepted the order, glanced at the two girls in front of him, and went to inquire.
Seeing that the people had left, Tong Cheng'er didn't want to stay there either. She lowered her head and said with her eyes down, "I accidentally got lost and ended up here. I'm sorry to have bothered you, young master. Farewell."
Then he said, "Rulan, let's go back quickly!"
Rulan said, "Yes, Princess."
The two of them quickly left, as if someone was chasing them.
Seeing how the two of them were avoiding him, Yinzhen touched his face. Was he really that scary?
Then, realizing why she was touching her face, she quickly lowered her hand, thankfully no one saw.
However, the name "Rulan" sounds somewhat familiar, and the voice is also somewhat familiar.
After a while, Yinzhen remembered what Prince Gong had encountered when he got lost. It turned out to be that "worrying" princess. This master and servant pair was quite interesting.
Judging from his appearance, he was probably cornered here. He was overthinking things earlier.
Su Peisheng arrived shortly afterward.
Tell him, "Your Majesty, those are the eldest princess of the Ulanara Mansion and the fourth prince of the Prince Gong Mansion talking."
Yinzhen frowned. He knew the fourth prince of the Prince Gong's Mansion and had even met him, but was this the eldest princess of the Ulanara Mansion?
Which Ulanara Prefecture?
"It is Lord Fei Yanggu, Commander of the Ministry of War."
That doesn't make sense. Fei Yanggu didn't only have one daughter. In the dream, Yongzheng married Fei Yanggu's daughter. How come he didn't know that Fei Yanggu had another daughter?
Yinzhen asked, "How many daughters does Feiyanggu have?"
“Two, and they are twin sisters. I just found out that the eldest princess of the manor is here to offer incense today, saying that she is praying for the second princess who is ill.”
So that's how it is. But just now, Yinzhen overheard a few words, and although it wasn't much, his demeanor didn't seem like that of someone coming to pray for their sister.
Yinzhen frowned: "Send someone to keep an eye on them."
Su Peisheng was surprised; his master wasn't the type to meddle in other people's business! But his surprise only lasted a moment. Since his master had given the order, he would obey.
"yes"
Yinzhen rubbed his brow and breathed a sigh of relief; the events of his dream still had some impact on him.
