When Yinzhen heard this, he felt as if his ears had been struck by an electric current.

Tong Cheng'er came up with two more reasons, but Yinzhen rejected them both. Then she was at a loss. Actually, it wasn't that she was at a loss, but that she had thought of other options.
As for matters between men and women, well, not only men have needs, but women do too! For as long as Yinzhen was abstaining from sex, Tong Cheng'er was abstaining from sex as well.
It's fair to say they were only half-heartedly willing.
