Therefore, the "ship girls" used in the competition are of paramount importance.
Being able to select a "ship girl" with good stats first means, at the very least, a 50% higher safety margin compared to others!

Leading Zheng Hao, they escorted him around a large circle of rooms, winding their way to an underground passage.
The underground passage was pitch black, and due to the lack of ventilation, a damp, foul stench emanated from it. Through the flickering candlelight, one could vaguely make out rows of iron-barred cells within the underground space.
Inside the prison cells, the haggard-looking "boat girls" were either lying on the ground or staring blankly out the window.

The food was pitiful, consisting of only thin porridge and plain white rice, with meager nutritional value.
Entering this place doesn't feel like entering a "Boat Girl Pool," but rather like entering a wild beast cage.
Those "ship girls" imprisoned were either extremely aggressive, staring fiercely at the outside of their cells, or lying weakly on the ground, wagging their tails and begging for mercy like little dogs.
Everything is polarized!
"This...this is too tragic!"
Mo Yurou's face turned pale, and she no longer dared to look at the surroundings.
"Zheng Hao..."
"Do you...do you really have to participate in this competition?"
