By infiltrating Lu Xiangrui's shadow, Qiao Suinian successfully infiltrated the Taiji Sect.
Under Qiao Suinian's control, Lu Xiangrui, as if sulking, walked straight to his room.
"Young Master, why are you back so soon? Would you like to take a bath? I'll have a few maids prepare the water for you." A man who looked like a steward hurriedly came over.
"Get out! Don't bother me! Get as far away as possible!" Lu Xiangrui shouted angrily, his eyes red.
The butler was startled by the sudden outburst of anger and quickly hid to the side.
He swallowed hard only after Lu Xiangrui slammed the door shut.
"What happened? Even the most nourishing tonic soup is no use? No, no, next time we need to add more ingredients!" The butler thought there was something wrong with the soup and muttered to himself as he left.
After Lu Xiangrui lost his temper, no one dared to disturb him anymore, and his room was completely silent.
Qiao Suinian then emerged from the shadows. He released Lu Xiangrui from his spirit-binding state. Once Lu Xiangrui regained consciousness, he was no longer as aggressive as before. His eyes were filled with fear as he looked at Qiao Suinian. He was completely terrified by Qiao Suinian's methods.
"I ask, you answer, understand?" Qiao Suinian gave an honest smile.
Lu Xiangrui nodded repeatedly.
"Where are Qin Fufeng and the others being held? Are they all locked up together?"
“Yes, they’re all locked up in the Tai Chi Sect’s dungeon!” Lu Xiangrui nodded again.
How do I get to the dungeon?
“Go out of my room, turn left and walk straight to the end. There will be a door with a candle lit. Go in from there and go downstairs!” Lu Xiangrui hurriedly said, wanting to get rid of this evil spirit as soon as possible.
"Oh? You're not lying to me, are you?" The brighter Qiao Suinian's smile became, the more uncertain Lu Xiangrui felt.
"No! I really didn't lie to you! The dungeon is right there!" Lu Xiangrui quickly explained.
"Alright, since you didn't lie to me, then lead the way." Qiao Suinian patted Lu Xiangrui on the shoulder, and with each pat, Lu Xiangrui felt his heart beat half a beat slower.
"Can't I just not bring it?" Lu Xiangrui said with a mournful face.
"What do you think?" Qiao Suinian smiled, and a small skull with bluish-green flames emanating from its eye sockets silently appeared behind Lu Xiangrui.
Lu Xiangrui was so frightened that he opened his mouth to scream, but fortunately Qiao Suinian had anticipated this and directly shoved the Haoye Dragon Staff down his throat, turning Lu Xiangrui's scream into gagging.
"Lead the way. Don't worry, I'm just here to rescue people. As long as you cooperate, there won't be any danger," Qiao Suinian explained.
“Okay…” Lu Xiangrui nodded reluctantly, and had no choice but to put on the Twin Light and Shadow suit and begin to lead the way for Qiao Suinian. Qiao Suinian then disappeared into Lu Xiangrui’s shadow.
"Young Master Lu!"
When the guards in the Taiji Sect dungeon saw Lu Xiangrui, they bowed slightly in greeting.
As Lu Hai's son, Lu Xiangrui was naturally not stopped by anyone, and the guards immediately let him pass.
The dungeon was empty, with a staircase leading down to the ground. An old man with gray hair and a hunched back was sweeping dust with a wooden broom.
