Chapter 84 Underwater Battle

Just as Qiao Suinian was horrified, the girl puppet in his arms didn't move its head or neck, but its body twisted into a strange arc, turning 180 degrees, and then slashed at Qiao Suinian with a knife.

Underwater, at such close range, Qiao Suinian had no chance to dodge the knife. With a slash, a bloody gash appeared on his chest, and blood gushed out, staining the nearby water red.

The girl puppet slashed again, and Qiao Suinian quickly drew his dragon-scale staff to block it. Then, he kicked the girl puppet hard, sending it plunging into the depths of the reservoir. He used the momentum to float up and chased after Yang Beini at full speed.

Yang Beini, who was struggling to surface, had just escaped danger and hadn't even had time to be happy when she saw Qiao Suinian chasing after her. She was instantly terrified and quickly pounded the water even harder.

Meanwhile, Li Xingchen and the others on the shore finally discovered Yang Beini's disappearance.

They were instantly terrified and their bodies went cold. If anything happened to Yang Beini, they would really be doomed!

"Miss! Miss, where have you gone?" Li Xingchen searched anxiously.

Soon, he noticed a slightly messy spot on the bank of the reservoir, with water splashing on the shore.

Li Xingchen immediately deduced that Yang Beini had fallen into the reservoir. Without hesitation, he handed over the Ghost Dragon Thunder Heart to someone else and then jumped into the reservoir.

With a splash, Li Xingchen sank into the water. In the cold, dark lake, he quickly spotted three figures chasing after him.

At the very front was Yang Beini, followed by a man whom Li Xingchen didn't recognize at all, and at the very back was a puppet.

Li Xingchen immediately swam towards Yang Beini, wanting to save her.

Upon seeing this, a cold glint flashed in Qiao Suinian's eyes. Li Xingchen and Yang Beini had both gone into the water, which meant that only Li Xingchen's subordinates remained on the shore. Qiao Suinian had just observed that many of them had been injured in the battle with the amphibious ghost dragon and had not yet recovered.

Seeing this, he no longer hesitated and immediately controlled the skeleton warrior to rush down the dam.

"Xiao Nianzi has started making his move, let's go!"

Feng Zhizhao, carrying a large axe, charged down first. Instead of taking the stairs, he leaped down and slashed at one of the men with the force of thunder.

Before the man could react, Feng Zhizhao cleaved him in two with an axe like chopping firewood, leaving blood and foul-smelling entrails scattered all over the ground.

"Watch out! Enemy!"

At this moment, the few men Li Xingchen left behind finally realized what was happening.

In the battle against the amphibious ghost dragon, they lost nearly half of their men. Now, with Feng Zhizhao's sneak attack that killed another man, only nine of them remain capable of fighting.

Little Skeleton and Jiang Ping quickly joined the battle. Little Skeleton held a shield in one hand and a sword in the other, wielding the rusty longsword with great skill.

Jiang Ping's arms were engulfed in crimson flames, and his frail body contained terrifying energy.

Han Yueling would hide in the back and occasionally throw out a frost spell when the opportunity arose. Anyone caught in her trap would either die or be crippled.

Zuo Fangya did not make a move, since it was a chaotic battle and her poison mist could easily cause indiscriminate damage. She only released a cloud of pink poison mist at Feng Zhizhao and Jiang Ping before the battle began, pushing their physical functions to the limit.

Qiao Suinian's special training over the past week has greatly improved the strength of each of them.

Although they now have to fight four against nine, their fighting strength is in no way inferior.

Seeing that a fight had broken out above, Qiao Suinian's eyes narrowed. If he could cooperate to hold off Yang Beini and Li Xingchen until Feng Zhizhao and the others finished their battle, then he and the others could join forces to deal with Li Xingchen and Yang Beini. That would give them a much better chance of success.

Thinking of this, Qiao Suinian no longer hesitated. He endured the pain from the knife wound in his chest and immediately activated the Ghost Child Ring. However, this time, he did not use the Skeleton Summoning Technique, but the Dark Shadow Kill!

With the double effect amplified, two more shadowy figures appeared during this Dark Shadow Assassination, making a total of three shadowy figures including Qiao Suinian himself!

The three dark figures each chose a direction: one went towards Li Xingchen, one towards the girl puppet, and the last one went directly towards Yang Beini!

Seeing Qiao Suinian attacking him, Li Xingchen gripped his Tang sword tightly and slashed at Qiao Suinian's neck. However, the sword passed right through Qiao Suinian's neck, which startled Li Xingchen instantly!

Yang Beini's delicate body surfaced. She took a deep breath, and her long dress, now soaked, clung tightly to her body, revealing her curves.

The feeling of escaping death brought Yang Beini a sense of relief, but the next second she felt a tremendous force on her ankle, and then she was dragged underwater again.

Yang Beini's beautiful eyes were filled with anger, and she almost ground her back teeth to powder.

That Qiao Suinian is like a persistent ghost!

Qiao Suinian's eyes were filled with indifference, and she ignored the girl puppet that was about to attack from behind.

The Necromancer and the Mechanical Puppet Master are very similar classes, both relying on summoned creatures to fight. The former relies on undead creatures, while the latter relies on mechanical puppets.

What these two professions are even more similar in is that as long as the mage himself is killed, both undead creatures and mechanical golems will instantly crumble without a trace.

Therefore, Qiao Suinian focused his attention on Yang Beini from beginning to end, wanting to deal with Yang Beini first.

The suffocating feeling of choking on water enveloped Yang Beini again, but this time she wasn't afraid; instead, she felt an indescribable excitement.
