"Destroyed the Qiao family? Aren't you a member of the Qiao family? What kind of amazing filial son are you?" Prince An almost burned out his CPU.
"Don't worry about that. As long as you want those two elders and the Holy Maiden to return safely, just listen to me," Qiao Suinian replied.
"Then how can I trust you? What if those three aren't in your hands at all? Wouldn't I be being used as a pawn?" Prince An coldly narrowed his eyes.
“That’s easy. At your age, you must have watched An Shengyao grow up, right?” Qiao Suinian pressed.
Seeing that Prince An nodded, Qiao Suinian then spoke softly.
"Your Abyss Demon Saintess An Shengyao has three moles on her buttocks! Now do you believe me?"
“Yes! That’s true, the Holy Maiden did have those three moles since she was a child…” Prince An suddenly realized something was wrong halfway through his sentence. “Wait! What the hell did you do to my Holy Maiden? You bastard!”
Enraged, Prince An punched Qiao Suinian in the stomach, sending him flying.
The people present looked at each other, their eyes filled with doubt.
What's going on? What exactly did Qiao Suinian say to Prince An? Why did Prince An suddenly go mad?
They were too far away to hear the conversation between Prince An and Qiao Suinian.
King An's eyes widened in fury. How long had it been since their Abyss Demon Clan's Holy Maiden disappeared, and now people already knew about the mole on her buttock?
"Don't get excited! Our relationship is very simple. It's just physical; we won't be involved in each other's lives at all!" Qiao Suinian waved her hands repeatedly.
Prince An's face turned green. These words sounded to him like an old father hearing his well-behaved and beautiful daughter being bullied by a blond guy driving a flashy ghost fire.
"I kill you!"
Enraged, Prince An raised his hand to kill Qiao Suinian, but Qiao Suinian showed no panic whatsoever.
"Kill them, but if you kill all three of them, none of them will come back."
An Wang's attack stopped at the last moment in front of Qiao Suinian's face; the terrifying demonic energy was just a hair's breadth away from devouring Qiao Suinian.
"You're ruthless!" Prince An glared fiercely at Qiao Suinian. If An Shengyao and the others hadn't been missing, Qiao Suinian would definitely have been killed by him. "Destroying the Qiao family is fine, it would be beneficial to my Abyss Demon Clan, but not now!"
"Now that the Four Symbols Legion is assembled, along with all the major and minor forces in the capital, a fight would inevitably result in mutual destruction. I cannot take such a huge risk!"
"Don't worry, that's what I think too. I'll create opportunities for you!" Qiao Suinian smiled like a little fox. "Now, you have to act out a scene with me."
Prince An narrowed his eyes, then struck out with a palm, sending Qiao Suinian flying, and shouted loudly.
"Tell me quickly, where have you hidden my people?"
"Kill me or torture me, do as you please. You can always find a reason to frame me. I'm already a cripple, I deserve to die!" Qiao Suinian shouted, showing no fear on his face.
"Still dare to talk back? Then don't blame me for being ruthless!"
A ruthless glint appeared in Prince An's eyes. He then attacked again, his demonic energy transforming into several ferocious, thorny black brambles that lashed out at Qiao Suinian. With each strike, a horrific wound appeared on Qiao Suinian's body.
"ah!!!"
Qiao Suinian's desperate screams echoed incessantly as he was whipped around like a gourd by Prince An, causing many onlookers to grit their teeth in disgust.
Some of the Tiger Legion soldiers couldn't stand it any longer and stepped forward to take action, but were stopped by their captain.
"Captain! Why are you stopping me? Why did we join the Tiger Legion in the first place? Wasn't it to protect our fellow human beings? Now, so many of us are here, watching helplessly as the Abyss Demons bully and humiliate our people, and we do nothing. What is the point of the Tiger Legion's existence?" The soldier's young face was full of anger.
His captain sighed, sounding somewhat distressed.
"Xiao Li, this world isn't black and white. I'm angry too, but some things aren't so easy to interfere with. Have you considered that if we intervene now and the two sides start fighting, even more people will die?"
The soldier known as Xiao Li clenched his fists upon hearing this, feeling extremely unwilling, but he understood that his captain was right.
The same scene was also playing out in the other three armies of the Four Symbols Legion, and many inexperienced soldiers were moved by it.
Although they were all stopped by their captain, a seed had been planted in their hearts. They looked at Qiao Suinian, who was still being tortured, with guilt in their eyes. They were all ashamed that they could not do anything but watch their compatriots suffer.
Prince An showed no mercy, each blow tearing Qiao Suinian's skin and flesh. Soon, Qiao Suinian collapsed to the ground like a bloody gourd, his body covered in blood, a pitiful sight.
Even so, Prince An still showed no intention of letting Qiao Suinian go.
The demonic energy condensed in his hand into eighteen black steel needles, each half a meter long. He held these needles and slowly walked towards Qiao Suinian.
"I have to admit, you are a real man. Even so, you won't say a word. But what comes next is something you definitely won't be able to endure."
Prince An raised the black steel needle in his hand: "A steel needle formed from demonic energy, we demons call it the Black Thorn."
“We have dissected many human corpses for research purposes, and we have finally determined that there are 36 fatal acupoints on your bodies. If the black thorns are pierced into half of these acupoints, death is certain!”
