Son of Light 6

Son of Light 6

The Holy See of Light is located in the center of the continent, covering a vast area. All areas under its jurisdiction are under the jurisdiction of the Holy See. It is an independent region with integrated politics and religion, and no royal power.

From District One to District One Hundred and Twenty-Seven, the size of the districts and the living standards of the people vary. The Central Church is located at the top of all the districts, in the northeast of the entire jurisdiction.

It is backed by the Mountains of Azeroth and faces the Dukedom of Sadria in the Frey Empire across the mountain. Facing southwest, it is a pilgrimage site for many believers of light and a symbol of the top power on the continent.

To the north is the extremely cold ice field famous for its numerous magical beasts, and to the south is the Wachester Free Federation, which is spontaneously formed by more than 20 small countries. These small countries believe in different gods and are extremely chaotic. Order can only be maintained by the Federal Parliament.

To the west are primitive tribes composed of orcs, half-orcs, dragon people, lizard people and other inferior ethnic groups. It is a lawless place and a hiding place for many criminals. It is extremely dangerous.

The eastern border of the Frey Empire is connected to the Dwarf Kingdom, separated by the Darameda River. The Dwarves believe in the god of forging, are generous and casual, and are proficient in weapon forging. In addition, there are rich magic stone mines in the country, and almost every person is a blacksmith. They love trade and like to barter, so many human countries like to establish trade relations with them.

In addition, Dragon Island where the dragon clan lives and Pole Island where the elves live are both located on islands in the sea. They are isolated from the world, each has their own gods to worship, never communicate with outsiders, and their members rarely appear on the mainland.

And this is the distribution of power on the largest plane in the entire universe - the St. Lucia plane.

Along the way, Luli listened quietly to the Pope's gentle voice describing the rich scenery of the continent. When he came to his senses, the carriage had stopped.

Lucius got off the carriage first and waited for Luli to get off before continuing.

"Of course, the more detailed information will be given by the dedicated teacher. May the light be with you."

Luli responded earnestly, "May the light be with you."

Lucius gave a lot of instructions before disappearing not far away. A middle-aged priest who had been waiting for a long time came over and smiled at Luli in a friendly manner.

"May the light be with you. Hello, my name is Horn. The Pope is busy with affairs and cannot come with you. From now on, I will lead the way for you."

Horn was wearing a pure white priest robe with gold trim. His attire was simple and elegant. On his chest was a small silver badge, indicating his rank as a silver priest.

The ranks of members who usually enter the Holy See for training are divided into apprentice, black iron, bronze, silver, gold, white cardinal, cardinal, red cardinal, and pope.

The job classification is no different from the above names. As the ability increases, the status will continue to improve. Of course, it is not enough to just look at the ability. It is also necessary to judge the person's ability to handle things and management style, etc. There is a set of assessment processes.

Among them, the Pope symbolizes both the pinnacle of divine authority and the embodiment of the strongest divine power. Currently, the Church of Light has only two cardinals, who are in charge of the Inquisition and the College of Cardinals respectively. The Holy Knights are a separate system that is not subject to control and only obeys the Pope.

Luli's mind automatically popped up with information, and he nodded seriously.

"May the light be with you, please, Priest Horn."

Horn smiled and said, "Don't be so reserved. Now that we've joined the Holy See, we're one family. If you have any questions in the future, just ask me."

Luli nodded, a hint of warmth in his eyes.

In the next few days, Luli was led by Horn to visit many places. Because he had not yet truly entered the Holy See and was not a believer of light, he was not qualified to enter the temple to worship, and could only worship devoutly at the statue in the square.

Afterwards, he received a brand new apprentice robe, a pass token, and a luxurious room. Since he was a disciple of the oracle and a promising young man brought back by the Pope himself, he was assigned a single room.

But this single room is not only equipped with a dedicated maid, but also has a Temple Knight as a 24-hour personal guard. Isn't this... a bit too luxurious?

Luli was stunned. It took him a while to calm down and walk in.

The maid was called Nabe, she was in her early twenties and a devout believer in light; the knight was called Theodore, he was three years older than Luli, just fifteen, but he was quite powerful, having reached the level of Bronze Seven Rings. Once his strength reached Silver, he could participate in the Knights Templar assessment, and after passing, he could become a glorious Temple Paladin.

The three men briefly introduced themselves, and Horn left.

At night, Luli lay in bed digesting what he had learned in the past few days, and felt that it was great that he could get out of that small world.

Nabe is a gentle and intellectual woman. She treats Luli as her younger brother and quickly becomes familiar with him. Theodore is a sincere and kind knight with a lively and cheerful personality. He often jumps out to smooth things over when Luli's speech becomes dull. He is also a very good friend.

The two men were older than Luli, but they were not overly friendly to him. They were polite and reasonable, and not as rude or fawning as the other people who surrounded him and asked him about his well-being during his visits in the past few days.

If Horn hadn't stopped them, these people would have stuck to him like a plaster and wouldn't have been able to get off.

Thinking of this, Luli closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep with an upright posture.

In the dream, Luli was standing on a grassland. Everywhere he looked were gorgeous and bright flowers. When the wind blew, the charming fragrance penetrated his nostrils. Luli squatted down and stroked the flowers, squinting his eyes and enjoying the breeze.

When he opened his eyes, he saw a figure walking slowly from the end of the grassland. When he was close, he could clearly hear the tinkling sound of the person's earrings. Luli stood up and walked towards the person, but just as he took a step, the wind became stronger, and the flying sand and rocks blew his hair into a mess, making him unable to open his eyes.

Thousands of petals were blown off by the fierce wind. The broken petals were spinning and dancing in the air. The man's low voice could be faintly heard in the wind, as if he was laughing. It was not until a long time passed that the wind gradually died down. Petals fell from the sky and fell all over Luli.

The figure had already turned into a ball of white mist and dissipated in the wind.

Wake up from the dream.

Luli opened his eyes and got up. He rubbed his face and looked at the time. He got up at exactly five o'clock.

Nabe was already knocking on the door. Luli picked up the exquisite white apprentice robe and put it on. He tidied himself up before going out.

Seeing him guarding the door, Nabe looked down happily, only to see that the little boy had dressed himself meticulously and was looking at her seriously. Nabe couldn't help but feel discouraged.

Luli avoided her slightly disappointed look as if nothing had happened, nodded to Theodore who was walking behind him, and just as he stepped out of the room, Nabe suddenly grabbed him. Luli frowned and looked back.
