Son of Light 7

Son of Light 7

Nabe held up a small mirror to him and said with a smile, "Your hair is sticking up. Let me help you fix it."

Luli had no choice but to stiffen his body and let Nabe take care of him. Looking at the tuft of hair on his head through the mirror, Luli sighed deeply.

Fortunately, Nabe acted quickly, and when Horn came to pick him up, Luli was already waiting at the door.

When they arrived at a soaring wizard tower, Luli wondered:

"Priest Horn, I remember the mentor I visited yesterday didn't live here. Why did he come here?"

He turned his head and frowned at the strict restrictions around him. No matter how he looked at it, this place didn't look like a place that could be entered casually.

Horn smiled awkwardly, "I forgot to tell you, the Pope has announced that your instructor has been replaced. From now on, your training will be taught by the master who lives on the top of this Mage Tower."

Luli twitched his lips, and a face with the same apologetic smile flashed through his mind. He had a slight headache and did not notice Horn, whose eyes were wandering next to him.

Because of the ban, Horn and Theodore could not enter the tower, so after saying goodbye to them, Luli had to enter the tower by himself.

The hall paved with blue-gray flagstones was empty, with a spiral staircase standing in the center. Luli approached and looked up.

The high-hanging staircase blocked out the sun, blocking nearly half of the light, making the entire first-floor hall dim, and there was no end in sight, like a tower to the sky.

Do I have to climb the stairs myself? Lu Li looked down at his frail body, then silently walked up.

The moment his shoes stepped on the stairs, the scene in front of him suddenly changed, from dark to bright. The fragrance of flowers wafted in, a breeze blew on his face, and the sun hung high in the sky. Luli stood in a courtyard full of flowers. Looking back, the hall he had come from had disappeared.

Luli was stunned for a moment but soon felt relieved. There was a high probability that a teleportation magic circle was cast on the steps just now. It was really a grand move, Luli silently judged in his heart.

What comes into view is a narrow path paved with expensive magic ore. The entire road is glowing with a hazy white light, which is extremely beautiful.

There were flowers blooming wildly on both sides of the road. Walking on the path, it felt like being in a flowerbed, and the path was like a white ribbon running through it. Luli looked at the light element particles in the air that were so rich that they were tangible, and couldn't help but take a deep breath, his eyes filled with shock.

I walked along the path for about half an hour before I saw the end.

At the end of the road, there is a classical stone pavilion with a pointed roof. The surrounding area is carved with intricate golden magic patterns, which flicker like breathing.

Luli looked at the man sitting on a chair in the pavilion reading a book. The man was facing sideways to him, and his expression could not be seen clearly. He was wearing a loose pure white wizard robe draped loosely on his body, hanging to the ground. As he turned the pages of the book, it slid slightly, revealing a white and solid chest.

His long, slightly curly blond hair draped behind him, fluttering in the breeze. The man seemed to notice Luli's gaze and tilted his head slightly to look at him. His handsome face was reflected in the sunlight, so gorgeous that it was hard to open one's eyes. He curled his lips into a smile and said loudly in Luli's stunned eyes:

"Hello again, old-fashioned guy."

-----------

As expected, a story needs to have a beginning and an end.

This was the second time Luli met the man. Unlike the first time they met, the man's aura was even stronger this time, which invisibly gave Luli a great sense of oppression.

The man also looked a little different, perhaps this was his true appearance.

However, his face was still that impeccably handsome, but his figure was broader than before. If you really want to compare, the man's appearance last time was probably a younger version of his current appearance.

The man called himself Singela Vistalia. He was brought up by the Church and served it. He was a great magician who lived in seclusion deep in the Central Church. In addition to being proficient in all kinds of magic except dark magic, he had the highest attainments in light magic, and was also good at array construction and various techniques.

According to him, the Holy See would bring in many people with magical talents like him every once in a while, but there were no more than five people in the entire Holy See who could achieve his current achievements, and he was the only magician who was proficient in light magic and had other talents, which shows his status.

Singela threw the book on the table, stood up and walked around Luli, admiring him. Luli stared straight ahead and let him look at him.

"Hehe, it turns out that bringing you back was the right thing to do." He put his hand on Luli's shoulder, squatted down to look him in the eye, his golden eyes full of smiles.

"Can you please call me teacher?"

“…”

"Oh, how boring." Singela pinched Luli's soft face, and seeing his serious face, she rolled her eyes, smiled evilly, tilted her head and kissed him on the cheek.

Thump, thump, thump... Luli took a few steps back and suddenly fell to the ground. He covered his face with his hands with a flushed face, pointed at the man with trembling fingers, opened and closed his mouth several times, and after a long time he uttered two words.

"Dirty."

"Hahaha." Singla slumped on the ground without any image and laughed uncontrollably. He wiped the tears from the corners of his eyes and raised his eyebrows and said:

"That's not right. If I get really nasty, I'm afraid you won't be able to handle it. Hahaha."

"...You!" Luli's face turned from red to blue, and anger burned again in his blue eyes.

"Okay, okay, I won't tease you anymore." Singela had laughed enough, and casually adjusted his clothes. He pulled Luli up from the ground again, and held him on his lap regardless of his struggle.

Singela rubbed his head and said with interest, "The priest who brought you here should have explained it to you clearly before coming here, but there is one thing I must tell you in advance."

Luli stopped struggling and looked up at him.

Singela looked at the little boy nestled in his arms, and a part of his heart softened. He looked into those azure eyes and couldn't help but pinch his cheek again before continuing:

"I can probably guess what you want to ask. The oracle was issued by the true God. I don't have the power to influence the gods, so don't doubt the joke I made on you the other day. Don't take it seriously." He paused, suddenly turned his head and looked behind him with a serious expression.

When Luli couldn't help but want to pull him, Singla turned his head again, coughed lightly, and said with embarrassment:

"As for why the oracle was issued, I don't know either. However, the Oracle of Light is issued the most frequently among all churches. Every year, a large number of outstanding talents are accepted into the church through the oracle. You don't have to think that you are unique. Just keep a normal mind."

Luli's eyes twitched, and he really wanted to tell him that he didn't feel that way, but he turned it over in his mind several times and still didn't say it out loud. The tense string in his heart relaxed a lot, but seeing that the eyes and attitudes of the people around him were too different in the past few days, Luli felt that he was lying to him.
