Chapter 132 The Passerby Who Didn't Get the Owl in Harry Potter 9

After giving the clueless Hermione a scare, Jiang Yue went to class. After attending classes diligently for a few days, the Quidditch match was about to begin, and everyone's discussion shifted from Harry losing points again to who would win the Quidditch match.

Inside the Ravenclaw common room, Jiang Yue was listening to an upperclassman talk endlessly about various famous teams. A boy next to her seemed to have a crush on Jiang Yue, and for the past few days he had been trying to get her attention every day. Seeing that Jiang Yue was interested in Quidditch, he even found her a book.

Jiang Yue understood what the man meant, but unfortunately, she didn't share his thoughts. Besides, everyone was only eleven or twelve years old; British kids were too precocious. Afterward, Jiang Yue hid for a few days, and the boy probably understood her meaning and stopped bothering her.

A few days later, the Quidditch match between the Gryffindor and Slytherin teams at Hogwarts officially began.

When Jiang Yue arrived at the stands, they were already packed with people. As one of the most popular activities at Hogwarts, the Quidditch stadium stands were always overflowing with people. Instead of pushing forward, she found a less crowded spot, even though the view wasn't great. A young lady next to her handed her a small flag that said "Potter will win." Jiang Yue took it and looked at it; it was quite well-made.

After both teams entered the arena, they flew around once, and the students cheered and shouted for them. Every time someone came out, someone shouted their name. After both teams took their positions, Mrs. Hooch also entered the arena. She stood next to the box with her hands on her hips and said, "I hope both sides can compete with skill and style!" After the commentator explained the rules, the match officially began after Mrs. Hooch threw the Quaffle.

The players from both teams were exchanging blows, and Jiang Yue felt that Slytherin was a bit of a sore loser, but she didn't know whether Quidditch didn't restrict such tactics, since neither the referee nor the commentator said anything.

At first, Jiang Yue thought it wasn't very interesting, but after watching for a while, she was also caught up in the atmosphere. At this point, the spot was no longer suitable, as there were heads everywhere. She looked at the Badger Girl next to her who was handing her a small flag, and she looked anxious and regretful. Jiang Yue looked at the flag in her hand, and immediately used a Transfiguration Charm to turn it into a magic carpet. Then, she pulled the girl up and used a Levitation Charm, so that since they were at the back, this wouldn't affect the others.

The young lady was startled at first, but then found it to be very stable. Then she pulled out a bunch of snacks from somewhere, and the two of them ate and watched, which was very pleasant. At the beginning, Gryffindor was up 20-0, then Captain Wood was knocked out of the field, and then the Chaser was also double-teamed by two Slytherin players and couldn't dodge in time, crashing into the post and falling down.

Slytherin then took the opportunity to tie the score, and that's when Harry, the Seeker, came on. While Harry was chasing the Golden Snitch, Professor Quirrell started causing trouble. Hermione mistook him for Professor Snape and set Snape's robes on fire, which then knocked Professor Quirrell down. Harry Potter's broom returned to normal.

What followed was a very exciting chase scene involving the Golden Snitch. When Harry pulled out the Golden Snitch, the commentator shouted, "Harry Potter caught the Golden Snitch! He gets 150 points! Gryffindor wins!"

Aside from the Slytherin members with their somber faces, everyone on the court was cheering and jumping for joy. After the match, Jiang Yue returned to the common room, still feeling unsatisfied. She was still discussing the match until she went to bed that night. When she got back to her dorm, her roommates asked where she had gone. They even made sure to save her a spot: "Sorry everyone, I was late and couldn't squeeze in. I can only watch from the back."

Hearing Jiang Yue say this, they felt sorry for her and said they would go together next time. Jiang Yue agreed. In the following days, everyone's enthusiasm for the competition did not diminish. In the days that followed, after hearing from Hagrid that Nicolas Flamel was related to the things guarded by Cerberus, the trio searched in the library to find out who Nicolas Flamel was, but to no avail.

Hermione didn't come looking for Jiang Yue during this time, so Jiang Yue didn't meddle. Recently, Jiang Yue has been studying Animagus. After studying it, she realized why so few people know how to do it. This guy is too unpredictable. If the leaf is swallowed or the weather is bad, the entire training process may take several years, or it may even fail.

After studying the Animagus, Jiang Yue then studied the Patronus Charm, which was also very useful. Basically, everyone in Harry Potter with a name knew this charm. Jiang Yue didn't encounter any difficulties in practicing this charm. With a strong magical foundation, extremely high concentration, and strong belief, Jiang Yue succeeded in practicing it in just a few days.

The summoned guardian spirit was an Ibizarre hound, which is quite a coincidence. When Jiang Yue took her first incarnation test, the academy, wand, and guardian spirit were exactly the same as they are now. It has to be said that the test was quite accurate.

Christmas arrived a few days later, marking the first holiday since enrolling at Hogwarts. The holiday ran from December 20th to January 5th. Jiang Yue sent a letter home in advance to inform them of her impending return. She packed her suitcase, which contained gifts for her family, some local specialties from Hogsmeade Village, and some Hogwarts delicacies. Jiang Yue asked her friends in the Hedgehog House to help her purchase these items from house-elves.

Don't be fooled by the small size of the suitcase; it's quite spacious inside thanks to the Unseen Stretch Charm. On the way to the station, I ran into Harry and Ron in the lobby. They were playing wizard chess, and there were other people helping to set up the lobby. After all, some people chose not to go home and instead spend Christmas at Hogwarts, but those were mostly older students. Most of the first-year wizards still chose to go home.

Jiang Yue also went over and greeted Harry Potter. Although they went to the same school, Jiang Yue hadn't really had much contact with them, except when they were in class together. The main problem was that Jiang Yue's mindset was a bit off; she wasn't interested in anything and was like an old person. Bai Ze had recently noticed this problem and was also looking for a solution, but it wasn't so easy to solve and they would have to take it slowly.

After saying goodbye, Jiang Yue and Hermione boarded the train home. On the train, Hermione chatted with Jiang Yue while reading a book. Although Jiang Yue was resting with her eyes closed, she was actually studying the Animagus content with Bai Ze. After returning to school, Jiang Yue planned to cultivate.
