Bai Shu's heart skipped a beat. She looked up and saw that there were already quite a few people in the reading room. She took out her headphones, put them on, and turned on the app.
I got to the door, but they wouldn't let me bring food in.
The man's deep, magnetic voice seemed to ring in her ear, its tone incredibly sensual, sending chills down her spine, yet it also carried a faint hint of grievance.

Bai Shu had a sudden thought. He quickly closed the book and threw it out of the reading room. Sure enough, he saw a tall, elegant man standing outside the door, dressed in black.

The girl looked up at him, her cheeks slightly flushed with shyness, and her eyes revealed a hint of helplessness and confusion.
Bai Zhu was truly at a loss.

He said he wanted to bring her morning tea, and without giving her a chance to refuse, he came to the entrance of the reading room to find her openly.

Bai Shu knew that the old man was giving her an excuse to leave so she could protect herself.

Bai Shu choked, almost laughing out of anger. She was the type of person who responded better to gentleness than force, and this grown man was acting coquettishly and aggrievedly. She originally wanted to refuse, but she really couldn't say a word.
She turned to the old man and said, "Grandpa, don't worry, I'll help you move it right away."
After saying that, she gently waved her hand and said to Xiao Lingchen, whose face suddenly turned aggrieved, "The reading room is not for eating. Go wait for me in the car. I'll pack my bag and come down, okay?"
The man's eyes lit up, his expression instantly brightening from cloudy to sunny. He nodded quickly, turned around, and left, as if afraid of giving her another chance to refuse.
