Xiao Lingchen's eyes widened suddenly, and he stood up abruptly, even bumping the table so hard he stumbled. Xiao Shisan felt a pain in his bones just hearing that sound.
He didn't feel any pain from hitting the table; he was just completely stunned, too shocked to react.
"My lord, please forgive me for overstepping my bounds, but let me speak frankly with you... The young lady has long been in love with you, but what have you done? Sometimes you give her hope, and other times you want to marry her off to someone else! Do you think the young lady can accept this?"
Xiao Shisan lowered his head, his voice initially hesitant, but gradually becoming more and more disappointed.

He left the tent, making sure to close the door before he left. As he was thinking about the camp where the girl was staying, he saw the maid Cuiyu lift the tent flap, rubbing her red eyes as she came out, carrying a food box in her hand.
A thought struck him, and he called out to Cuiyu, "Did you just bring food to the young lady?"
Cuiyu recognized him and nodded repeatedly, saying with difficulty, "Miss hasn't been eating much, and I'm very worried. I really don't know what to do!"
Xiao Shisan said, "Don't beg me. Even if you beg me, I can't think of a way to get the girl to eat. But if you're really worried about your girl, I'll tell you about someone. Go ask him for help, and just say this... Do you understand?"

Thinking of what Xiao Shisan had said about her having feelings for him, he was both angry and anxious. Without saying much, he hurriedly stepped out the door and rushed to her tent.
I had only gone halfway when I saw a figure suddenly rushing towards me from the opposite direction.
The man looked up and saw him, then rushed over almost as fast as he could, his eyes red with panic and fear, and crashed into his arms, crying out in alarm!
“Brother, why didn’t you stay in bed? You dared to go out! Xiao Shisan said he couldn’t eat a single grain of rice, he was so sick he couldn’t even stand up, and he was about to die! I was wrong, I won’t argue with you anymore. Just take your medicine, you’ll be fine, please don’t scare me.”
