"What? Who was brought here? And why did you bring me here?"
The man pulled Tongsu's hand and led her inside. The little girl curiously tugged at his sleeve, and he gripped her hand even tighter.
"Come with me."
Upon entering the warehouse, the doors and windows were tightly sealed, creating a gloomy atmosphere. As soon as you stepped inside, you could almost smell the thick dust.
A man was lying on the ground, his hands and feet bound, his mouth gagged with a rag. He was still drunk, groaning and mumbling something, wriggling on the ground.
Not far from him, another chair was set up, and a woman sitting on it looked uneasy. Her arms and cheeks were wrapped in gauze, and her face was filled with fear.
Several men in black suits stood around the open space, each exuding a menacing aura. If others saw them, they would probably be so frightened that they would immediately look away.
But Tongsu wasn't scared at all. Instead, she looked around with even more curiosity. When she saw the woman, she exclaimed and ran over quickly: "Mom!"
The woman looked up, and it was Tang's mother!
"Yangyang—"
She let out a soft cry, opened her arms and pulled Tongsu close, her eyes immediately reddening as she asked a question in a low, urgent voice.
"What are you doing here? Who are these people? They paid for my medical bills, but they brought me here instead. And your father, look at your father..."
Huo Xuanxi waved his hand, and the subordinates guarding the area stepped forward, pulled the rag out of the man's mouth, and poured a bucket of cold water over it.
Only then did they push it away from a distance.
The man's drunkenness was instantly dispelled by the cold water. He sat up with a yelp, but the ropes binding him were still in place, and he fell back down as soon as he moved. It took him a long time to open his eyes in a daze.
The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was Tongsu.
"Tongyang? What are you doing here, you little brat? Untie me now! Damn it, who the hell tied me up? Get out here—I'll kill him—"
Tong Su didn't move.
Tang's mother's hands were trembling as she hesitated to step forward and help Tang's father untie the ropes.
Tongsu grabbed her arm.

Tang's mother screamed in fear.
Tang's father was sent flying backwards, crashing heavily into the wall! He landed on the ground, hunched over, and nearly vomited up his entire stomach.
