Shu Hengming never expected that Qingyou would run into the nanny from before.
The nanny took care of him until he was one year old, and then his biological parents paid her off.
Before the apocalypse, he did come to his biological parents, trying to blackmail them by threatening to switch identities and then extort money from them.
His parents pretended to agree, but secretly sent someone to harm the nanny, intending to kill her by accident.
But the apocalypse came just a few days later, and they didn't have time to think about it.
Who would have thought that the person was still alive and that Qingyou would run into him?
He did not doubt Qingyou's words.
After all, Qingyou's attitude towards him was normal when they went out to collect supplies together in the morning, but now it has suddenly changed. This is the only explanation that makes sense.
Moreover, it's normal for the nanny to recognize Qingyou since she was targeting their family for extortion, and it's consistent with her behavior.
He was now filled with regret. He should have had his biological parents deal with the nanny sooner. Now she had come out and ruined everything, disrupting his entire plan. How despicable!
