Chapter 13 Bad Dad 13
Ji Huaizhi's female assistant was dressed casually today, with a polite smile on her face.
The caddie provided a lot of emotional value; the clinking of glasses was crisp, and auspicious words kept flowing out.
Someone even brought fireworks.
After celebrating, Ji Huaizhi sat down in a chair, and a caddy brought him a towel: "Mr. Ji, take a rest for a while."
After he finished wiping his sweat, they brought him Evian with the cap already opened.
Ji Huaizhi glanced at her again, and his affectionate eyes made the girl blush and her heart race.
"What's your name?" Ji Huaizhi asked, taking the water.
His Adam's apple bobbed up and down, and a muscle could be faintly seen as he went down his neck.
The girl pursed her lips shyly: "My name is Li Qiao. You can look for me if Mr. Ji comes to visit in the future."
"I noticed you just now, you have a sweet tongue."
Li Qiao chuckled and sat down next to Ji Huaizhi to chat.
Seeing this, the others wisely refrained from disturbing him, but then Ji Huaizhi's phone rang again.
Li Qiao, being sensible, walked away and said she was going to get something.
"Hello?"
Wei Wei almost lost control of her voice: "Honey, why aren't you answering the phone? I thought something had happened!"
"It's nothing, I'm just playing ball with a client." Ji Huaizhi saw Li Qiao bring over a plate of fruit: "You should rest first, we have another game, and we probably won't be back until very late."
Wei Wei hurriedly hung up the phone before she could finish speaking, but she could still hear a sweet female voice coming from the other end:
"Mr. Ji, would you like some fruit?"
"Just leave it here. When are you getting off work? Want to come along for a free meal?"
Li Qiao hesitated, knowing that dining with these big shots might mean becoming a dish on the table herself.
But she was still somewhat tempted; next time, she figured people wouldn't even remember who she was.
"Don't worry, I'll have my assistant take you home later. It's just dinner."
Li Qiao looked even more youthful and lively after changing into her own clothes, and everyone else tacitly understood when they saw Ji Huaizhi with this young girl.
His reputation for being a womanizer is known to most people in the industry.
There were previous reports that he married the woman he loved in his youth, a prodigal son who has turned over a new leaf and settled down.
It seems to be just a passing fad, and things are still the same as before.
When Ji Huaizhi said he was going to eat, he really meant it. Li Qiao sat obediently next to Ji Huaizhi, raising her glass when it was time to do so, and otherwise eating quietly.
The other men at the table all brought female companions; such gatherings inevitably involve a few drinks.
Seeing that she had almost finished drinking, Ji Huaizhi had someone change her juice.
A gentleman, a refined scoundrel—that's how Li Qiao described Ji Huaizhi.
Working here, Li Qiao has met many wealthy people, some of whom have expressed their affection for her, and some have even offered to pursue her or become her sugar daddy.
She had the ambition to rise to the top in one step, but she was also somewhat picky.
Of all these people, she felt that Ji Huaizhi was the most charming, with a kind of approachability and less of an aloofness.
Even if you follow such a person for a while, you won't suffer any losses; you might even make a profit.
After the dinner, Ji Huaizhi closed two more business deals; everything he did was purposeful.
Where do you live?
Li Qiao felt a bit bored. Apart from the delicious food, the dinner was otherwise quite dull and tedious.
I only realized the other person was talking to me when I heard their lazy voice.
After giving a location name, Ji Huaizhi looked at the driver's seat and said, "Sasha, take her back first."
The car was quiet for a moment, and Ji Huaizhi closed his eyes and pretended to doze off.
Li Qiao thought to herself, "That's it?"
He really did bring her here to freeload a meal.
When she got out of the car, Ji Huaizhi handed her a business card, and the two of them understood each other without saying a word.
Li Qiao accepted the gift with a polite smile: "Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Ji."
"You're welcome."
As she got out of the car, Li Qiao seemed to hear him say something like, "You played well," and then look at the back of the car and sigh, "It's so good to be rich."
I took out my phone to tell my sister that I had arrived home.
Wei Wei was so angry that she couldn't sleep at home. She opened a bottle of red wine and drank it all by herself until she was completely drunk.
When I heard the door open, I knocked over a wine glass.
Why drink so much?
Wei Wei stood up as if she had just noticed he was back, and just as she was about to hug him, she saw a long strand of hair on his shoulder.
Suppressing her jealousy, she feigned sadness: "How long have you been ignoring me?"
"You still care whether I drink a lot or not?"
Ji Huaizhi frowned as he looked at the red wine on the table: "I don't care how much you drink, I care about this bottle of wine."
"It's very expensive; it's a treasured gift from someone."
There was a hint of regret in his tone.
Wei Wei cried, and while crying, she punched his chest with her fists, radiating sadness. Then she leaned weakly on his shoulder.
"Ji Huaizhi, you bastard!"
Ji Huaizhi pushed her away: "You just realized? It stinks. Stay away from me."
Wei Wei looked at him sadly: "Don't you have a heart? You smell of alcohol on you too."
"It also has a woman's musky smell." She said, pulling a strand of hair from his shoulder and questioning him.
"You think I'm too old?"
"No wonder you haven't touched me in so long, that girl must be very young, right?"
Although Wei Wei is indeed not young anymore, she has taken good care of herself now that she has learned how to do facials. A woman who can win back the original owner's heart must be quite beautiful.
"There are bound to be female companions at drinking parties. It's getting late, let's get some rest." After saying that, Ji Huaizhi turned around.
But Wei Wei wouldn't let him have his way.
She grabbed his hard arm and tiptoed over to him.
Before she touched him, Ji Huaizhi first touched her forehead with his cold fingertips.
Ji Huaizhi caught her before she fainted.
Wei Wei rubbed her face against the blanket, looking blissful, and didn't hear the door close.
Ji Fangqin held the ice cream and looked at Wei Wei speechlessly. She had been confused ever since breakfast.
She would mention her father from time to time.
Now she's having another episode, saying she's made soup to send to her father so he can have some nourishing soup.
"Qinqin, has your mom ever been to Dad's company before?"
Ji Fangqin ignored her, and Wei Wei muttered to herself, "Your dad works hard, and he drank again last night. I'm worried about his health."
Thinking about last night, she couldn't help but chuckle. She knew it!
How could she possibly be old?
The man couldn't resist, could he? She's going to the company to see which vixen is keeping him from coming home.
