Chapter 19 Bad Dad 19
"Husband, I was wrong." Wei Wei immediately knelt down.
"I'll never do it again, please forgive me." Wei Wei knew she couldn't get a divorce.
"I'll have an abortion, and I'll definitely be a good wife and mother from now on." She can't get a divorce.
"I won't care how you do things from now on, just don't..."
Ji Huaizhi lowered his eyes: "That won't do."
“It’s so cruel to beat a child. Of course, the whole family should be together.”
Wei Wei suddenly burst into tears, hoping he would have pity on her and not retaliate.
Zhou Weiyi went berserk again, hurling all sorts of nasty insults at Ji Huaizhi and Ji Fangqin.
Yang Kaiju didn't dismiss her just because she was a child.
Since they're not divorced yet, she's nominally this brat's grandmother.
It's perfectly natural for a grandmother to discipline her granddaughter.
Ji Huaizhi reached out and lifted Wei Wei's chin: "Your ex-husband is coming back soon, but it seems he had two fingers cut off this time because of gambling."
Wei Wei trembled with fear upon hearing this.
"I don't want a divorce, honey. I can have an abortion." She looked at him pleadingly.
She held his hand and kept begging him not to get a divorce.
"I'll continue to stay with someone like him, my only husband who will die."
Ji Huaizhi snorted coldly: "You lied to me? Then I'll play with your family for a while."

Ji Fangqin returned two days early and hugged her grandmother affectionately when she saw her at home.
"Grandma, when did you get back?"
"Just two days ago." Yang Kaiju had already prepared the meal.
I looked around the house and found that a lot had changed. Many things seemed to be gone, and two annoying people were missing.
Where is that woman?
Yang Kaiju: "Your dad kicked you out."
"ah?"
Ji Fangqin suddenly felt that she shouldn't have gone out; it seemed she had missed some good show.
Yang Kaiju felt that this concerned her son's reputation, so she couldn't say anything.
After all, she was his mother, and it was best to have as few people as possible know about this.
"Grandma, please tell me, please tell me."
"Don't ask so many questions, you're just a kid. They're not here anymore, so try not to throw tantrums. Remember how good your dad is to you."
Ji Fangqin listened in a daze: "I know my dad is good to me, but Grandma, when have I ever been temperamental?"
The less she said, the more curious Ji Fangqin became.
But she didn't know who to ask.
I never saw the mother and daughter again. I only learned from my grandmother that my father and Wei Weiyi had divorced.
Ji Fangqin clicked her tongue in disapproval. "This marriage was rushed, and the divorce is just as quick."
It was like a dream.
"Dad, will you remarry in the future?" Ji Fangqin asked curiously.
"Won't."
Ji Fangqin was somewhat skeptical, knowing that her father was a notorious womanizer.
Her phone, which was covered in stickers, rang. She looked puzzled. Who could be calling her?
"Hello?"
"Qinqin, give the phone to your dad." Wei Wei's voice came through the phone: "I need to talk to him."
Before Ji Fangqin could speak, the phone was snatched away.
It looked strange to see my dad holding my phone.
"What's the point? Why do you think I, Ji Huaizhi, am a sucker?"
What misconception did I give you that made you think I'm easy to talk to?
Ji Fangqin dared not speak.
I saw my dad hang up the phone, block the number, and return the phone to me.
"Dad, what did they do to make you so angry?"
Ji Huaizhi lifted his eyelids: "You're just a kid, don't ask questions you shouldn't ask."
Wei Wei was filled with regret. Ji Huaizhi had them taken directly to Zhou Shenghong's rented apartment.
Both mother and daughter were frightened when they saw Zhou Shenghong.
They thought he really only had two fingers cut off.
But in fact it's more serious.
He was beaten so badly that there wasn't a single good spot on his body, and Zhou Weiyi was so frightened that she cried.
Wei Wei felt that it wasn't necessarily because of gambling; she was more inclined to believe that it was Ji Huaizhi's revenge.
She placed her hand on her stomach and made up her mind that she could not keep this child.
If she stays in this environment, her body simply won't be able to recover.
And it will only drag her down further.
Zhou Shenghong was a gambler to begin with, and now that things are like this, Wei Wei is even less likely to waste time with him.
He couldn't support her and their only child, including the baby in her womb.
It's better to leave sooner rather than later.
But I never expected Ji Huaizhi to be so heartless. Not only did he insist on divorce, he also refused to give her any money.
He took back everything he had given her before. She married him with nothing, and was then kicked out of the house with nothing at all.
She felt that such a short marriage was like a dream.
A dream of changing one's social class.
When Ji Fangqin got out of school, she didn't expect that Wei Wei and her daughter would be waiting for her at the school gate. They looked disheveled.
They kept begging her to take them back.
“You’ve all been kicked out by my dad, how could I possibly let a wolf into the house?”
"And the happiest person in the family is me since you were kicked out."
Zhou Wei gritted her teeth, feeling uncomfortable being stared at by the students around her. She never expected that Ji Fangqin was just like her father.
“We’re just going back to get something, Ji Fangqin, is it really that big of a deal?” Zhou Weiyi glared at her.
"As for what you can go back to get?" Ji Fangqin stood in front of the car with her arms crossed.
"You're penniless, how dare you come into our house and eat and take things?"
Wei Wei pleaded with her, "Qinqin, your dad and I had a misunderstanding and a fight. We'll clear things up later. Can you help your auntie out?"
"Considering that your aunt has taken care of you and cooked for you during this time, can you not be so heartless?"
Ji Fangqin's eyes darted around: "What misunderstanding do you have with my dad?"
"My dad was so heartless and kicked you all out."
Wei Wei was embarrassed to say it, but she felt that Ji Fangqin was definitely easier to fool than Ji Huaizhi: "It was just a small misunderstanding. Her only biological father wanted to see her before, and I didn't stop him."
"Your dad found out about this, that's why he's so angry."
Ji Fangqin felt that this was unreasonable. Zhou Weiyi wasn't her father's daughter, so she wouldn't get angry about it.
"Please help Auntie out. We're having a tough time right now. We'll just take a few things and leave right away."
"We'll go back after your dad calms down."
