Chapter 2: Transmigrated as the Father of the Real and Fake Heiresses
Watching her son comfort Ji Tian, the original owner realized that Ji Lan's presence had been very low since she returned.
Because he was busy with company affairs, he left the family matters to Ji Lin and his assistant.
So, in places he couldn't see, his own daughter was being wronged all along?
"Dad! She's gone too far! Look, my sister's leg is injured. How will she dance in the future?" Ji Lin seized the opportunity to complain.
"She's just jealous of Tian Tian. It would have been better if she hadn't brought her back in the first place."
"She actually dares to compare herself to Ji Tian? What makes her think she can compare to our little princess?"
The original owner could clearly see the smugness in Ji Tian's eyes.
Watching her son constantly insult his own sister, and hearing his words show no respect for Ji Lan.
The original owner felt a mix of emotions.
How did it turn out like this?
"Dad, please don't blame my sister. I'll stay away from her as much as possible in the future, so she won't hit me again out of jealousy."
Ji Tian kept trying to sow discord between the original owner and the person in question.
The implication was that Ji Lan had a problem with her personality.
But Ji Lin didn't see anything wrong with it: "Sweetie, you're so kind!"
"I won't let that person appear in front of you again. Take good care of your injuries."
Unable to bear it any longer, the original owner questioned his son, "Who is that person?"
"Is this how you act as an older brother?"
Ji Lin didn't understand.
Ji Tian was also stunned.
It seemed like the first time Dad hadn't shown concern for his own injuries; instead, he scolded his older brother.
And this was the first time I had been completely ignored.
The original owner was smoking in the study, contemplating how to face his biological daughter.
He finally realized what a stupid thing he had done.
After reflecting on his actions, he decided to give Ji Tian an apartment so she could move out.
Then, we should work together to repair the relationship between father and daughter, and the bond between siblings.
Unexpectedly, before he could announce it, Ji Lan committed suicide.
Her suicide note read: "If I had known, I wouldn't have come back."
The original owner dreamed countless times at night of his deceased wife questioning him about why he had bullied the daughter she had given birth to at the risk of her life.
The original owner's spirit collapsed instantly.
When Ji Lin tried to drive Ji Tian away, he had another big argument with the original owner of the body.
In the end, the father and son were at loggerheads.
Ji Tian, harboring resentment because the original owner wanted to drive her away, contacted the Ji family's company's arch-enemy.
He stole company secrets from the original owner's study, causing the company significant losses.
Ji Lin defended Ji Tian. During the argument, the original owner learned that after Ji Lan's accident, Ji Tian and Ji Tian had secretly gotten together in order to avoid being kicked out.
That's why Ji Lin fought against his family for Ji Tian's sake.
Such a huge scandal caused the original owner to suffer a heart attack from anger.
When he lost his balance, Ji Lin was about to call the family doctor when Ji Tian stopped him.
The original owner never expected that her son would actually watch her die, and that the daughter she had once cherished would treat her this way.
A heart attack can happen very quickly.
In a short period of time, Ji Huaizhi experienced excruciating heart pain. He never imagined that he would end up like this in his life.
For the sake of such an ungrateful wretch, he neglected his own daughter whom he had finally found.
And that ungrateful son...
Ji Huaizhi put down the paternity test results in his hand.
She got up and stood by the window, looking through the glass at the tall, upright man inside.
When the assistant came in, he saw President Ji standing by the window, seemingly lost in thought: "President Ji."

The driver drove the car to a noisy, bustling area.
The car body gleamed with a cold, hard luster in the bustling city, like a lurking beast.
All eyes turned to the luxury car, drawn by curiosity.
"Are there really rich people eating in this small town? Shouldn't they be going to eat Michelin-starred meals?" someone wondered.
"Who knows? Maybe they've had too much fancy food and just want to eat our simple meals."
The moment he stepped out of the car, even more eyes were fixed on him.
His demeanor was completely out of place in this bustling street; dressed in a suit and tie, he stood out conspicuously in the heart of the city.
His deep eyes surveyed his surroundings, and his aloof demeanor made people afraid to approach him. Every gesture he made exuded an aura that was impossible to ignore.
"Mr. Ji, this way." Assistant Zhou gestured for him to arrive at a night market food stall.
This food stall is doing good business, but the environment is just so-so.
The owner was in the kitchen, while his wife was in the front greeting customers.
Seeing Ji Huaizhi standing in front of his shop, he was a little puzzled. Shouldn't someone dressed like that eat here?
But he still politely stepped forward and asked, "Boss, would you like to eat?"
Assistant Zhou was about to refuse, thinking he was there to see someone.
But to my surprise, President Ji simply hummed in agreement and went inside.
The assistant, standing in front of the table, seemed hesitant to sit down, looking at the greasy, yellowed surface. The proprietress, sensing his discomfort, brought over a clean cloth and wiped the table again.
"Here's the menu. Take a look and see what you'd like to order. The dishes at the top are our signature dishes."
After the proprietress left, Assistant Zhou took out disinfectant wipes and wiped the area again.
Ji Huaizhi unbuttoned his suit sleeves and sat down directly.
Assistant Zhou hadn't even had a chance to wipe President Ji's chair yet, and looked somewhat surprised.
"Alright, that's fine then." Ji Huaizhi looked around the food stall.
Assistant Zhou wrote down a few signs and handed them to the proprietress. Just as he was about to ask if there was a girl named Li Lan in the shop, he was interrupted by President Ji.
Following President Ji's gaze, a young girl was serving food to the table next to them.
"The dishes are all served, please enjoy your meal."
Li Lan skillfully served dishes and helped customers take orders.
He doesn't seem like a high school sophomore at all.
"Xiao Lan, the guests at table number 3 have left. Go and tidy up."
"Okay." Li Lan tidied the table with practiced ease, taking the plates into the kitchen and then wiping the table with a rag.
The messy desktop was tidied up in less than a minute.
Ji Huaizhi's gaze followed Li Lan's every move.
She was constantly busy, like a little spinning top.
He would occasionally chat and laugh with the proprietress, his smiling face matching the image Ji Huaizhi remembered.
Hearing the commotion in the kitchen, Li Lan prepared a table of dishes for Ji Huaizhi.
"Your dishes are all served, please enjoy." After saying that, she swung her ponytail and went to help in the kitchen.
Assistant Zhou saw President Ji tear open a pair of disposable chopsticks and was about to eat when he quickly stopped him, saying, "President Ji, these might not suit your taste..."
"It's nothing." Ji Huaizhi exuded an air of nobility in every gesture.
They were eating something that looked like a delicacy, even though it was just a simple stir-fry from a street food stall.
As Li Lan entered the kitchen, she glanced back at the man with a refined air.
He picked up a piece of chicken, hesitated, and then put it in his mouth.
They probably didn't expect the chicken to be so spicy, and they choked on it.
