Chapter 23 Transmigrated as the Father of the Real and Fake Heiresses
After Assistant Zhou called them all over, Ji Lin saw his father's expression and continued kneeling.
Sensing the tense atmosphere, Li Tian dared not make any more noise.
She has achieved her goal.
They must have just been discussing her future. As for Ji Huaizhi, Li Tian still has hope for him.
After all, the affection I showed her before wasn't fake.
Just like Li Hao said, after raising a dog for so many years, he has developed a bond with it, so how could he easily drive her away?
This attitude towards her must be because of Ji Nanzhi.
Li Tian looked up and glared at Ji Nanzhi, leaving Ji Nanzhi speechless.
"Dad, Grandpa, I was wrong." Ji Lin lowered his head.
The rest of the Ji family were in the hall; this was the first time he had ever been so humiliated.
"Where did you go wrong?" Ji Huaizhi asked softly.
Ji Lin glanced at Li Tian, but was too embarrassed to speak.
Ji Huaizhi stood up: "If you're too embarrassed to say it, I'll say it."
"Although Li Tian is not related to you by blood, the brother-sister relationship you have had for the past seventeen years is genuine and goes against ethics."
"Besides, do you even remember how old she is?"
"If it weren't for her, your sister wouldn't have been stranded for seventeen years. Do you still remember that she is the daughter of our Ji family's enemy?"
Li Tian suddenly looked up. So that's what Dad thinks?
Feeling humiliated, I dared not speak.
"Today is your grandfather's birthday banquet, and the current situation is all because of you and her, bringing shame to the Ji family in this circle and to your grandfather. How do you think I should punish you?"
Old Master Ji looked up, and his cloudy eyes revealed a speechless expression.
That brat really knows how to make excuses. If you had stopped him from the beginning, this wouldn't have happened.
"Ji Lin, a grown man like you, being completely manipulated by a woman, do you think you deserve the title of heir to the Ji family?"
That's a pretty strong statement.
Ji Lin suddenly looked up: "Dad, I was wrong."
Before his father said those words, he didn't think anything of it, just that it was embarrassing.
But once those words were spoken, things changed.
"You're wrong?" Ji Huaizhi looked at him coldly: "Ji Lin, you're incredibly stupid!"
As he spoke, he kicked Ji Lin in the chest.
Ji Lin collapsed to the ground.
Li Tian screamed in fright, "Dad, don't hit my brother, we're sincere!"
Ji Huaizhi didn't even glance at her.
Humiliation and resentment flashed across Li Tian's face.
"Starting today..." Ji Huaizhi's voice rang out:
Ji Lin clutched his chest and shook his head, his expression one of disbelief: "No..."
"Ji Lin's status as heir will be revoked. He is with the daughter of the Ji family's enemy, and he doesn't even care about family ties or respect the Ji family. He is not allowed to set foot in the Ji family's home again."
“Since you care so much about this woman, even though her family caused our family to be separated for seventeen years, and you don’t even care that they affected your sister’s life, then you are no longer my son, Ji Huaizhi.”
The rest of the Ji family were so surprised they couldn't close their mouths.
Unexpectedly, Ji Huaizhi would give up on this son directly.
Ji Lin stared wide-eyed, unable to believe his father would say such a thing: "Dad... I'm your only son!"
“You don’t have to be.” Ji Huaizhi’s eyes were cold.
Li Tian couldn't believe it either: "Are you lying? You're not only going to kick me out, but you're going to kick my brother out too?"
"Just because of Ji Nanzhi, you're even abandoning your own son?"
Ji Huaizhi looked down at the two of them and said, "Get out!"
Li Tian felt something was off; he was definitely doing it for his own benefit.
He deliberately drove the older brother away in order to break them up.
"Brother, isn't this... a bit too much?" the second branch of the family advised, after all, which family in this circle doesn't have a few scandals? They felt that this little thing shouldn't be enough to drive Ji Lin away.
Ji Huaizhi turned around: "I will publicly revoke his status as heir tomorrow."
"Adults should be responsible for their own actions."
Ji Lin slowly got up, with Li Tian supporting his arm.
The two seemed like a loving couple who defied their parents.
"dad!"
With tears welling up in her eyes, Ji Lin called out to Ji Huaizhi, "Just because of Tian Tian, you want to kick me out?"
"In your heart, am I not as important as Ji Nanzhi, whom you just found? You want to kick me out of the Ji family to pave the way for her?" Ji Lin still couldn't believe it: "I'm your son too!"
Her voice was slow and choked with emotion: "Why are you so fixated on the things of the previous generation?"
Why?
Ji Huaizhi turned around: "If you were the one who was replaced back then, you wouldn't have this attitude."
“Since you’re so noble, I’ll take back the house near the company and cancel your credit card, cutting off all ties with the Ji family.”
"Look at what your life would be like without the Ji family."
Li Tian was completely flustered.
How can she do this while she's pregnant?
She stepped forward to catch up with Ji Huaizhi: "No! You can't do this to him."
Assistant Zhou stepped forward to stop Li Tian.
Li Tian grabbed his hand and gritted her teeth: "Get out of my way! You're just a dog, what right do you have to stop me?"
"Ji Huaizhi! You did this on purpose, I hate you!"
"You seem to be punishing Ji Lin, but it's all for my benefit. Just because Ji Lin is good to me, you're taking everything away from him. How could you do this?"
"Dad, why are you doing this to me?"
"I'm already pregnant with Ji Lin's child, why did things turn out like this?"
Li Tian collapsed and sat on the ground crying, her makeup ruined and her face looking somewhat frightening.
Ji Lin seemed surprised that things had suddenly turned out this way.
Ji Nanzhi watched the entire performance expressionlessly, and as she turned to leave, Ji Lin called out to her.
"Are you feeling smug?"
Ji Lin's expression was filled with hatred: "Everything has become like this because you came back. Why didn't you die out there back then?"
“Since you’ve already gotten used to living outside, you should stay in the slums.”
Why did you come back?
