Chapter 27 I'm a Brother-Supporting Demon 27

Liu Jinhua's heart tightened: "Your father's medical expenses were all covered by medical insurance. Why do you think there's still money in the family? You've taken all our money. I don't know how we're going to survive!"

"Why don't you just kill me and your father!"

"You two ungrateful wretches are trying to drive us to our deaths!"

Ji Huailin could tell from her expression that she wasn't lying.

Ji Junsong was so angry that he kept hitting the blanket.

Seeing that she didn't seem to be lying, Ji Huailin bent down and looked into Liu Jinhua's eyes: "Mom, I remember you have a key to Uncle's house, right?"

"When they went on vacation, they gave you a key and told you to go and keep an eye on things."

Liu Jinhua was stunned.

Looking at her son's serious expression, a strange feeling rose in her heart.

"Didn't you promise to take me shopping today?" Zeng Min looked at Ji Huailin's impatient expression: "Why are you so late?"

"There was a bit of traffic when we got here. Let's go, I'll take you shopping."

Zeng Min's annoyance vanished completely: "Okay, go buy me two more outfits."

Ji Huailin watched her sweep through the mall and pressed his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

At this rate, the little money she has won't last long at all.

That's why he went to the hospital today to ask Liu Jinhua if she had any money left.

"What? Feeling sorry for me?" Zeng Min glanced at him, noticing his gloomy expression and silent. "That's why I told you you can't afford to support me."

Seeing that he remained silent, she threw what she was holding at him: "Why are you giving me that look?"

"If you can't bear to part with it, just take it back and return it. Why pretend to be a big shot?"

Ji Huailin watched her walk away in her high heels and quickly caught up with her: "I didn't, this is something I bought for you, why would I return it?"

“I’m not reluctant to part with you. I’m just thinking about when I can find the time to go back and ‘ask’ for some more money so I can take you on a trip. Didn’t you want to go to the beach?”

Zeng Min's eyes were alluring: "Really?"

"real."

"Then I forgive you." Zeng Min raised her chin like a proud peacock: "Let's do the travel next time."

"I have some things to take care of at home right now, I'll contact you later."

"What are you trying to do?" Ji Huailin grabbed her slender wrist. "You're not trying to run away, are you?"

Zeng Min rolled her eyes: "Are you sick?"

The two argued again in the mall, and in the end, Ji Huailin spent more than 300,000 yuan to make her happy.

As the balance in his card dwindled, Ji Huailin suddenly became anxious.

Ji Huaizhi laughed when he heard the system say that Ji Huailin had been squatting near Liu Jinsheng's house for several days.

Just as he expected.

"What are you laughing at?" Dong Shuxiang asked, holding the child.

"It's nothing, I just suddenly had a good idea, a little inspiration popped into my head." Ji Huaizhi tried to take the child.

But Dong's mother stopped her, saying, "If you have any inspiration, go ahead and do it. I'll watch the children and call you when it's time to eat."

Ji Huaizhi: "Okay. Then thank you for your hard work, Mom."

"What's so hard about it? You're the one who's having a hard time. You have to take care of the family and write novels at the same time, and novels are so mentally taxing."

Dong's mother is now extremely satisfied with her son-in-law.

Holding the child, Dong Shuxiang exclaimed, "You're almost like my mother's own son."

"A son-in-law is also a son."

After succeeding, Ji Huailin went to find Zeng Min. When he arrived at her door, he found her about to leave with a girl beside her, who seemed to be her cousin.

They were also carrying many shopping bags.

It seems like they were all things he had bought for her before.

Ji Huailin didn't greet them, but followed behind them.

When they arrived at the shopping mall they had visited before, they saw them carrying their purchases as they entered the stores they had shopped at before.

Ji Huailin stood in front of the glass, watching her talk to the shop assistant.

The shop assistant took out the items from the shopping bag to check them, and after confirming that there were no problems, transferred the money to Zeng Min.

Then they went to the next store.

It's the same old routine again.

As their shopping bags dwindled, Zeng Min's smile grew wider.

The way he handled it skillfully suggests he's done it many times before.

"My God, that man is really generous to you. Why don't you just go for it?" Zeng Min's cousin exclaimed in amazement.

"What do I mean? He doesn't have much money. If he had a house and a car, I might consider marrying him." Zeng Min counted the banknotes in her hand:

"But he had nothing, so I didn't dare to gamble."

My cousin looked at me with suspicion: "But you spend so much of his money, yet you're not with him. Aren't you afraid?"

"Don't worry, he likes me a lot." Zeng Min counted out about a thousand yuan in cash and handed it to her cousin.

"Consider this your reward for helping me carry my things today."

"Thank you, cousin." The girl saw the money sparkling.

Looking at her cousin with envy, she said, "I've noticed that every man you meet is so generous to you."

"You can't envy it; it's all about fate." Zeng Min said with a hint of arrogance.

"Alright, most of these goods have been returned. You can take a taxi home." Zeng Min put the remaining cash in her bag: "I have something to do, so I won't go back with you."

My cousin nodded.

Ji Huailin then followed Zeng Min.

After leaving the mall, she hailed a taxi immediately.

Ji Huailin hailed a taxi and followed: "Follow that car in front."

"Hey bro, is that your woman?" The driver's eyes gleamed with gossip.

"Stop talking nonsense. If you lose them, believe me, I'll deal with you." Ji Huailin threatened with a dark face.

The driver, realizing he'd made a fool of himself, shut up.

The car drove out of the city and left the bustling area.

The driver couldn't help but say, "Brother, you probably won't be able to keep your girlfriend. This is a rich area; everyone who can afford to hang out here is rich."

Ji Huailin pursed his lips tightly, his eyes fixed on the car in front of him.

It looked like it was about to breathe fire.

The car was parked not far away, and a middle-aged man drove it for Zeng Min.

Zeng Min's high heels landed first, followed by her long, slender legs. After getting out of the car, she bumped directly into the middle-aged man's arms, smiling radiantly as she spoke to him.

The two seemed quite affectionate, suggesting they had known each other for a long time.

The man placed his hand on Zeng Min's waist, moving it downwards and caressing her from time to time, before leading her into the private restaurant inside.

Ji Huailin exuded a low-pressure aura, and his gloomy appearance was quite frightening.

The driver didn't dare say anything more.

at night.

Zeng Min was dropped off at the entrance of the residential area in a luxury car. After getting out of the car, she was unsteady and smelled of alcohol.

He was humming a little tune and seemed to be in a good mood.

"Minmin." Ji Huailin's deep voice rang out.

Zeng Min was startled: "What are you doing here?"

"Didn't I say I'd contact you?" Zeng Min's expression wasn't very pleasant.

I tried to stand up straight, and then I noticed a pile of cigarette butts at Ji Huailin's feet.

"What’s wrong with you?"

Ji Huailin didn't speak, but Zeng Min chuckled and leaned against his chest: "Missed me?"

A cold hand touched her neck, making her shiver.

All that could be heard was the man's soft voice saying:

Yes, I miss you.
