Chapter 3 My Wife is a Vixen 3
The blind man's ears twitched: "Your home is next to this school?"
"May I come to your house for a drink of water?"
The original owner looked displeased: "You blind man, you don't seem like a good person. You come here and immediately start asking about my surroundings."
"You'd better get this water from somewhere else."
"Young master, please wait." The blind man grabbed his hand and immediately sensed the intense demonic aura emanating from the man.
He suspected that this monster was related to his wife.
"Let go!" The original owner disgustedly slapped his hand away.
The blind man didn't mind: "I am a demon hunter, also known as the Blind Swordsman. When I passed by here, I sensed demonic energy, and it's even stronger here. I suspect there's a demon in your house."
The original owner was shocked: "Nonsense!"
"An exorcist? A blind man?"
"Get out of here quickly!"
The original owner was actually somewhat flustered, and the fear in his heart was growing stronger, but he could only cover it up with panic.
The blind man tilted his head slightly and raised an eyebrow at his reaction: "It seems that you already have some doubts, young master. I won't waste any more words with you."
Then he picked up the gourd from his waist; the blind man's movements were incredibly swift.
A drop of water splashed around the original owner's eyes: "Ah! What's that?"
"This water will allow you to see the true face of the demon. That little demon shouldn't harm you. Don't panic and let her discover what you've seen."
"You can come to the foot of Qingtai Mountain to find me later."
The original owner blinked, feeling nothing.
In the blink of an eye, the blind man was gone too.
He clenched his fists, gritted his teeth, and turned to go home.
As soon as I entered the house, I saw smoke rising from the chimney in the courtyard, and I could hear A-Yuan's voice:
Why are you so late today?
"The child is unruly, so he was kept in the school for a short while."
"Then let's hurry up and eat. It's a real pity that the chickens in the yard were bitten by the beast, but at least we can have some meat." Ah Yuan was actually craving meat because she was pregnant.
There probably won't be enough chickens to go around.
The original owner had her head down, and for some reason, she hesitated to look up.
He only dared to look up when he heard his wife shouting again.
Unexpectedly, what he saw first was a white tail swaying behind A-Yuan.
The original owner choked, her palms were pinched raw, and she had to force herself to stay upright to stop herself from screaming. She really was a demon.
A-Yuan's ears twitched, and she was already drooling as she looked at the chicken soup in front of her.
She's really craving it.
I really want to eat ten chickens at once.
No, twenty.
With her white-tailed beast ears, A-Yuan looked like a forest elf, but the original owner only found it absurd and terrifying.
The one who accompanied him day and night was actually a demon.
Unable to hold on any longer, she fainted from fright.
When she woke up, A-Yuan had turned back into a human, presumably because the person's water had lost its effectiveness.
The original owner was so frightened by the sight of Ah Yuan, who looked like a woman, that she hid in the corner of the bed and even screamed out in surprise.
"Husband, what's wrong with you?" A-Yuan's heart skipped a beat.
Could it be him?
The original owner, her hands trembling, forced herself to remain calm: "I had a nightmare, and when I woke up, I was terrified to see you so close to me."
Seeing her suspicious look, I quickly changed the subject, making sure she didn't suspect anything.
"What's wrong with me? Wasn't I supposed to be eating? How did I fall asleep?"
"You fainted, my husband, are you afraid of something?"
The original owner shook his head: "No, I think I suddenly lost my strength, and my heart suddenly palpitated and my hands were shaking. I don't know why."
"Never mind."
"My health is inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes bad. I never know when I might pass away. I'm just really worried about you and the child..." The original owner suppressed her true feelings and said these words against her will.
The doubt in A-Yuan's eyes faded, replaced by determination: "How could that be?"
"My husband will surely live to be a hundred years old."
"Only you would think that way." The original owner made an excuse to let her go eat, because she really had no appetite.
He made an excuse to go out and encountered the blind man at the door.
He immediately knelt down: "Master, save me! There is a demon here."
The blind man pulled him a little further away: "Do you believe me now that I'm telling the truth?"
"I believe you, Master, please save me! She's a demon!"
The original owner knelt down again.
This time, the blind man didn't help him up: "Of course I will save you, otherwise I wouldn't be waiting for you here."
"I thought it was a bit far from the foot of Qingtai Mountain, and I was afraid you would be harmed, so I waited near your house. I didn't expect you to come out so quickly."
The original owner was so moved that she cried.
"Master, waaaaaah!"
Seeing his appearance, the blind man touched the gourd at his waist: "Never mind, I am a demon exorcist, exorcising demons is my duty."
"Tell me in detail about your relationship with this monster."
After the original owner finished speaking, he realized that A Yuan's appearance was very strange from the beginning. Since she was fleeing, she was very clean at the time and did not look like she was fleeing at all.
The blind man nodded after listening.
"She's a spirit, and the thing in her belly is a wicked creature!"
"Will I be in trouble? She's carrying my child, why is she clinging to me?"
The original owner felt strange, and thinking about him and that monster... he felt unclean all over and couldn't help but vomit while leaning against a tree.
The blind man took out a small package: "Find an opportunity to give her this, it will prevent her from using her magic."
"Then leave the rest to me."
The original owner really didn't want to face that monster again, but looking at the expressionless blind man, she had no choice but to accept.
During dinner, the original owner used the excuse that she was pregnant to tell her to rest.
A-Yuan smiled happily.
After she rested, the original owner cooked a meal, poured the packet of medicine given to him by the blind man into the pot, and threw the oiled paper into the fire. After doing all this, he felt cold sweat all over his body.
She prayed in her heart that the exorcist would surely capture her tonight.
The food was brought to the table, and the original owner called her to eat.
At this moment, A-Yuan was still sleeping, and perhaps because she was too relaxed, her ears and tail popped out again.
The original owner stood there, too afraid to move.
Thinking about it carefully, she had already unknowingly revealed it long ago.
He just didn't pay much attention to her, or perhaps he couldn't believe it, since his life had become much more comfortable after she came into his life.
After they got married, the two did nothing but teach. Now that they've calmed down, how will they live their lives without this monster?
Thinking of this, the original owner felt a sense of confusion.
She has never harmed me since she appeared.
Instead, they took good care of him in every way, and his own health improved. Who in the village didn't envy him?
If she weren't there, would his body...?
The original owner felt he had acted too impulsively; he should have thought it over carefully and waited a few days before making a decision.
You shouldn't have told the exorcist the truth immediately.
While the original owner was in a daze, A-Yuan woke up, noticed her ears and immediately made them disappear. She was relieved to realize that she had cast an illusion spell on him so he couldn't see.
Only then did she look at her husband.
"Husband, why didn't you call me?"
The original owner then came to her senses: "You're sleeping so soundly, I can't bear to wake you."
A blush crept onto A Yuan's face.
It made her look even more beautiful and charming.
Ah Yuan was undeniably beautiful. Even after having a child, the original owner of this body was often captivated by her: "Let's eat."
Although the food the man cooked didn't taste very good, A Yuan still ate it with relish.
The original owner lost his appetite and began to space out again.
A-Yuan called him several times, but he didn't pay attention.
"Husband, what's wrong with you?" A-Yuan looked at him worriedly. "You're not acting right today. You even fainted. Let me take a look at you in a bit."
The original owner put down his chopsticks and shook his head: "Nothing, I was just thinking about something."
Looking at the food on the table, I served her a bowl of chicken soup. The chicken soup I had at noon contained the most medicine.
"Drink more soup."
