Chapter 3 The Demon Orb and Stepfather 3

Chapter 3 The Demon Orb and Stepfather 3

"Hahahaha." Seeing their expressions, Ji Huaizhi couldn't help but laugh.

Zhou Qing stood behind him, stunned, seemingly not expecting his stepfather to be so shameless.

"Oh my god, I'm really fed up with him." The aunt pointed at Ji Huaizhi's back: "Tell me, is he sick?"

"Alright, alright, don't bother with him."

"Exactly, just stay away from him in the future."

Zhou Qing followed Ji Huaizhi and saw him sit down in the breakfast shop and pick up his chopsticks.

The other person looked up at her and held out a finger to let her into the store.

"Two baskets of xiaolongbao, and a bowl of eight-treasure porridge, please." Ji Huaizhi tapped his chopsticks on the table repeatedly, raising an eyebrow as he asked Zhou Qing, "Porridge or soy milk?"

"Soy milk," Zhou Qing said softly.

Ji Huaizhi was making a lot of noise while drinking his porridge. It was almost noon, and there weren't many people left in the breakfast shop.

"Did your mom cheat on me?"

Zhou Qing remained silent.

"Your mom doesn't want you anymore?"

Zhou Qing remained silent.

Ji Huaizhi scoffed lightly, then ate one small steamed bun after another, and even ate half of the one in front of her.

"Want to pay on credit, boss?" Ji Huaizhi took a tissue and wiped his face; his vest was already soaked with sweat.

The shop owner didn't even look up: "It's a small business, we can't offer credit."

After paying, Ji Huaizhi took a braised egg in front of the shop owner, without even thinking of paying for it: "Your buns are too small, I'm not full."

boss:"......"

After everyone left, the owner of the steamed bun shop shook his head.

Zhou Qing sat on the sofa, feeling restless.

I could hear Uncle Ji, Grandpa Ji, and Grandma Ji arguing inside.

"Don't let me catch her, I'll make her vomit up those 100,000!"

“Then let’s consider that money as money used to buy Zhou Qing. From now on, she will be a child of the Ji family!” Mother Ji’s voice was full of energy.

Ji Huaizhi: "You're overthinking it. Human trafficking is illegal, my dear mother."

"You're already in this state, why are you still afraid of breaking the law?" Father Ji sneered.

"Alright, enough of this, it's all pointless talking to you." Ji Huaizhi kicked a stool and looked at the nervous Zhou Qing: "Who was your mother closest to before?"

Zhou Qing: "I don't know, I just heard her making phone calls to people often."

Ji's mother's expression wasn't good either; she had overthought things from the start.

How can a woman be content with her lot if her own son is no good?

"Grandpa and Grandma, I'm sorry." Zhou Qing felt very guilty towards Ji's parents.

She knew that she had no connection with the Ji family.

She never expected her mother to just leave her like that. When she saw that all of her mother's things were gone, she knew that her mother must have left.

Mother Ji sat down: "From now on, you are a child of the Ji family, and Ji Huaizhi is your biological father. When you grow up, you must be filial to him."

Zhou Qing: "Aren't you going to see me off?"

“Wouldn’t it be a loss to send you away? If I sold you, your mother would take my 100,000 yuan and I would have to pay you back.” Ji Huaizhi looked at Zhou Qing maliciously.

Zhou Qing's expression suddenly turned terrified.

Ji's father told him to shut up and say less.

“You’re not getting any younger, and now you have a daughter. Can’t you live a good life?” Ji’s mother said to him earnestly countless times.

"How much longer can we support you?"

Ji Huaizhi listened impatiently: "I know."

Seeing his expression, Ji's father slapped his thigh and said, "How did your mother and I raise you like this?"

Ji Huaizhi: "Don't be angry, don't be angry. You're so old, if something happens to you, who will give me money?"

Ji's father couldn't take it anymore and took off his shoes to beat Ji Huaizhi.

"Ouch!"

"Don't hit me, don't hit me, I'm your own son."

Ji Huaizhi covered both his buttocks and his head.

After the beating, Ji's father finally let out the anger he had been holding in.

This time, he didn't run away when we hit him.

Ji's mother looked distressed, not knowing what to do. Her son was so old, yet he acted like a rebellious teenager. They had even suspected before that he might be possessed by some evil spirit.

Or perhaps there's something wrong with his/her brain, such as a mental issue.

Just as Ji's father finished putting on his shoes, Ji Huaisheng came in with his wife and son.

"I heard Huaizhi is here, let's come and see him." Ji Huaisheng entered the house.

The son, Ji Dapeng, sat directly on the sofa, pushing Zhou Qing aside: "This is my sofa."

Ji Huaisheng pretended not to see it, while Yang Xiangui glared at Zhou Qing: "Why are you two here together? Where's your mother?"

Zhou Qing didn't say anything.

Yang Xiangui frowned: "He can't even utter a fart."

"Then let me hear you make a call, sister-in-law." Ji Huaizhi crossed his legs and placed his hands on the sofa, looking very arrogant.

This time, Ji's mother didn't speak up for Zhou Qing. Her mother ran away without saying a word and was still angry.

“Huaizhi, how dare you speak to your sister-in-law like that? You’re getting more and more rude.” Ji Huaisheng would lecture his younger brother whenever he had the chance.

The two brothers have very different personalities, and although they are brothers, their relationship has never been good.

Most of the arguments are just arguments.

Ji Huaisheng disliked his younger brother, thought he was a disgrace, and felt that every penny his brother spent on their parents was his own money.

The original owner was jealous of this older brother and hated his lecturing and belittling.

The two can be described as being completely incompatible.

"My rules are my rules, and your rules mean nothing to me." Ji Huaizhi raised his chin, his provocative look making you want to punch him.

"Also, keep an eye on your son. Can't you even fit his ass in such a big place?"

Yang Xiangui frowned and glanced at Ji Huaizhi with annoyance.

Ji's mother told them to stop arguing: "Since you're all back, why don't you stay for a meal?"

"How old are you to still be making a fuss? Do you still think you're young?"

During dinner, Ji Huaisheng's family heard that the woman had run away, leaving behind a child, and they were so angry that they almost went berserk.

"Then why keep her around? Just send her away."

Yang Xiangui, with a loud voice, suddenly looked puzzled: "That woman didn't take anything with her when she ran away, did she?"
