"Dad, is there anything I can help you with?"
Li Xia finished the homework assigned by school. She went into the kitchen and saw Li's father busy at work. She rolled up her sleeves and prepared to help.
Father Li was processing a pile of crabs and prawns.
Crabs need to be scrubbed one by one, and so do prawns, and the blue veins at their tails have to be pulled out.
In the past, Mr. Li never had to do housework, and all these housework were done by the nanny.

Father Li came out of the kitchen holding a plate of golden and crispy hairy crabs.
"Wow! Dad is so awesome!" Li Xia looked at the table full of delicious food. Her mouth kept secreting saliva and she didn't have time to swallow it.
"As long as Xiaoxia likes it." Father Li handed Lixia a pair of chopsticks. "Xiaoxia, try it and see if the saltiness is right."
"OK."
Li Xia nodded and reached out to take the chopsticks from Li's father.
She first picked up a braised prawn that looked very appetizing, and after taking a bite, her taste buds enjoyed a feast.
“How does it taste?”
Father Li asked.
Li Xia's little mouth was stuffed with shrimps. She couldn't open her mouth to answer, so she gave a thumbs up to Li's father.
She usually just makes do with her meals when she's alone at home.
Li's father's new company has just gotten on track, and he has a lot of social engagements, so he goes out early and comes back late every day.
Every morning when Li Xia was still asleep, Li's father would go out.
When he came back at night, Li Xia had already washed up early and fell asleep, having a tryst with Zhou Gong.
In the past six months, the father and daughter have had very few opportunities to spend time together face to face like they did today.
“Cough cough cough…”
