Chapter 192: The Cold-hearted Uncle’s Pampered Bag (42)

"Lixia, what did you say?"

Music suddenly started to sound around them, the volume drowning out Li Xia's voice. Cohen only saw her mouth opening and closing but did not hear Li Xia's voice. He leaned over and put his ear closer to her.

Li Xia's attention was on Shan Yilin at this time.

She didn't hear a word Cohen said.

Why is he here?

When Li Xia thought about the past two days when she couldn't contact Shan Yilin, she was so worried that she couldn't eat or sleep well, but he was here having fun with others.

She bit her lower lip and looked at Shan Yilin with a hint of resentment in her eyes.

Qin Xiao saw that Shan Yilin didn't even blink, he frowned, "Ayi, did you know that your hand is injured?"

Shan Yilin turned a deaf ear to his concern.

He took a step forward and walked straight forward.

"I said..."

Qin Xiao looked at Shan Yilin, who didn't even glance at him and walked right past him. He blinked, turned around and stared at Shan Yilin's back.

He reached out and scratched his cheek.

"His soul has been hooked?" Qin Xiao muttered softly.

When Li Xia saw Shan Yilin walking towards her, she felt a little uneasy.

There was an agreement between the two.

When she was still a student, she had to report to him and get his permission before going to certain places.

Entertainment venues like bars and clubs.

Shan Yilin was firmly opposed to Li Xia's entry.

Not to mention that he saw her coming in with her male classmates with his own eyes.

But the next second, Li Xia remembered that as soon as she got out of school these past two days, she ran to the company to wait for Shan Yilin.

His phone call was unreachable and he couldn’t be found.

Even if she wanted to report and discuss with him, she couldn't contact him.

"go home."

Shan Yilin stopped in front of Li Xia.

He didn't even look at Cohen beside her. He looked down at Li Xia expressionlessly with a grim tone.

When Shan Yilin approached, Li Xia smelled a strong smell of alcohol on him.

Her brows furrowed.

She had been with Shan Yilin for eight years, and this was the first time she smelled alcohol on him.

In Li Xia's memory, Shan Yilin has always been a teetotaler.

She couldn't figure it out.

Why would he come here to drink for no reason?

From the smell of alcohol coming from Shan Yilin, it can be determined that he must have drunk a lot.

Seeing this, Cohen squeezed in between Li Xia and Shan Yilin.

He raised his eyes to look at Shan Yilin and asked, "Sir, who are you?"

Cohen had only heard that Li Xia had a younger uncle, but he had never seen Shan Yilin, so naturally he didn't recognize him.

Shan Yilin treated Cohen as air. He narrowed his eyes and said, "Get out of the way."

His voice was small but intimidating.

The strong low pressure emanating from his body made people shiver.

In his eyes, Cohen was just a young boy, and Shan Yilin did not take him seriously.

But he was standing under his nose, especially with the attitude of a protector, protecting his people behind him, Shan Yilin couldn't bear it.

"Cohen, he is my uncle, please get out of the way first."

Li Xia knew Shan Yilin, and she knew that he looked angry.

She didn't want to implicate Cohen, so she quickly raised her hand to pull him away.

"Li Xia, I said, go back, don't make me say it for the third time." When Shan Yilin saw Li Xia's hand on Cohen's arm, his hands subconsciously tightened.

The bleeding on the injured hand, which had finally stopped, began to break out again.

Beads of blood as big as beans fell on the floor. The dripping sound was drowned out by the surrounding noise, and bright red plum blossoms bloomed.

Li Xia saw Shan Yilin's eyes fixed on her hands.

She flapped her eyes and immediately let go of her hand.

"Oh, it's my uncle. I'm so sorry, it was all a misunderstanding." Cohen nodded apologetically. He stretched out his hand and said to Shan Yilin, "Hello, Uncle Li. I'm Li Xia's elementary school and college classmate. I'm in the same grade as her. My name is Cohen, and I'm glad to meet you."

Cohen did not have a deep understanding of Li Xia's family situation.

He only knew that she had a younger uncle who lived abroad with her.

He didn't know that they were only uncle and nephew in name, not having the same surname and no blood relationship.

When Shan Yilin heard Cohen's self-introduction, he looked past him and looked at Li Xia.

Primary school and university classmates?

so.

His target was obvious, he was coming for her.

Li Xia felt the temperature around her getting lower and lower. She swallowed and said, "Cohen, I'm sorry, I'm afraid I can't attend your birthday party today. My uncle is drunk. I'll send him home first and give you a birthday present another day."

"Li Xia, I'll take you..."

"No, I can do it myself."

Cohen was worried that Li Xia, a girl alone, couldn't handle it, and he also wanted to show off in front of her relatives, so he offered to take them there.

But before he could finish his next words, Li Xia interrupted him.

"Li Xia, don't worry about causing me trouble. To tell you the truth, I only invited you to today's birthday party. Now that you're gone, it's boring for me to be here alone. Besides, we know each other so well, this little favor is not worth mentioning."

Cohen thought Lixia was embarrassed to trouble him, so he looked at her and said.

"Cohen, it's really not necessary. Thank you for your kindness." Li Xia said.

Shan Yilin listened to the conversation between the two and his eyes darkened.

He walked right past Cohen, reached out and grabbed Lixia's wrist, and led her out.
