Chapter 696 Looking for Yousheng

"Miss Li, you're back!"

As soon as Li Xia, Zhou Ping and others returned to the inn, Yingniang hurried out from the hall to greet them. She walked up to Li Xia, pursed her lips, as if she had something to say to her.

Wu Jing saw Li Xia coming back. He blinked and came closer with hope. "Doctor Li, have you found a way to detoxify?"

He looked up at Li Xia, swallowed, and opened his mouth to ask.

"Wu Jing, don't worry. I already have the powder they sprinkled on Master Xiao. Give me some time, and I will make the antidote as soon as possible so that Master Xiao can regain his sight as soon as possible."

Li Xia said to the Five Classics.

The follower beside Xiao Yihe was indeed loyal and cared deeply about his son.

When Wujing heard this, he felt relieved and no longer had to be so tense.

"That's good. As long as you are safe and sound, I will feel relieved." He licked his lips and exhaled.

With Dr. Li's words, I can feel relieved.

Otherwise, he would always be worried, fearing that the young master's eyes would never be restored.

The young master is the only child in the Xiao family. If there is a problem with his eyes, he really won't be able to explain to the master and the mistress, and he will be too ashamed to meet the old lady.

Before leaving the house, he solemnly made a promise in front of the old lady that he would take good care of the young master. However, along the way, the young master was injured, poisoned, and kidnapped into a bandit's lair. Not only was the entire truckload of medicinal herbs lost, but even the young master's pony was forcibly taken away by the bandits. They had no money or horses, and even returning home became a problem.

Although they suffered a lot of hardships along the way.

But as long as you and your fellow sir are fine, that's the best.

"Madam, what's wrong with you?"

Li Xia noticed that Yingniang beside her seemed a little absent-minded. She blinked, looked up at her, and asked with her mouth open.

Yingniang bit her lower lip, frowning, and looked up at Li Xia, "Miss Li, I'm sorry. You entrusted your brother to me, but I failed to keep a good eye on him. Half an hour ago, he was waiting for you in the room. As it was getting dark, he saw that you hadn't come back, and he was worried about you. No matter how I talked to him, I couldn't convince him. He just wouldn't listen to me and insisted on going out to look for you. It was also because of my carelessness that he ran away. My brother Wujing and I searched the area several times, but we couldn't find him."

Her eyes were filled with guilt.

It was already dark now, and Yingniang was very anxious. After all, Li Yousheng was still a child, and she was worried that he might encounter danger outside.

"Shopkeeper, I know it's not your fault. Yousheng is my brother. I know his personality. He is the only one who listens to me. I understand. You don't need to feel sorry for me. I understand your good intentions." Li Xia listened to Yingniang's guilty tone, pursed her lips, and said to her: "Shopkeeper, please take me to the road where Yousheng got lost. He may be hiding to avoid you. I will go over and see if I can find him."

"Okay, Miss Li, I'll take you there right away." Yingniang nodded and replied.

Zhou Ping blinked his eyes and said, "Yingniang, I will go with you."

Maybe he could help if he went along.

"No need, you can take them back to the inn to rest, I will take Miss Li there, I have asked the shopkeeper to open a room for you, you can just ask the guy at the door to take you upstairs."

Upon hearing this, Yingniang waved her hand and spoke.

"Doctor Li, I will go up and talk to the young master, and then go with you." Wujing raised his eyes, looked at Li Xia and said with his mouth open.

Doctor Li has done his best for the young master, and he also wants to do his best for her.

"Well, okay, thank you very much."

Li Xia bit her lip and nodded.

She thought about taking the Five Classics with her so they could spread out and find more places.

"Miss Li, this is it." Yingniang pointed to a corner and said, "I chased him here, but I couldn't see Yousheng anymore."

She pursed her lips and spoke.

Li Xia looked at the direction Yingniang pointed, and she raised her eyes, "I'm afraid he was hiding in this pile of debris at that time, deliberately confusing the female shopkeeper's sight."

"Why didn't I think of that?" Yingniang raised her hand and patted her thigh upon hearing that. She frowned and said, "I was only focused on looking for him at the time. If you think about it this way, if I had gone in to look for him at that time, maybe I would have found him."

She bit her lower lip and said in an annoyed tone.

"Shopkeeper, I told you not to blame yourself. When people are in a hurry, they can't think so thoroughly." Li Xia raised his hand and patted Yingniang on the shoulder. "Let's split up and look for it along these roads. The limit is 15 minutes. Whether we find it or not, we will all return to this corner and gather together."

She blinked, turned her head to look at Yingniang and Wujing, and spoke to them with her mouth open.

Things have come to this point, and no one is feeling good about it. Blaming others won't solve anything.

Although Li Xia was also very worried about Li Yousheng.

But she thought that the city was not too chaotic yet, and many people were consciously isolating themselves and staying indoors. As long as Xiao Yousheng was still in the city, it would not be easy for him to get lost.

"Okay, Doctor Li, I'll go look for it over there first."

"Miss Li, I'm going too."

Yingniang and Wujing nodded and said in unison.

Hearing this, Li Xia licked her lips, nodded and said, "Okay, see you later."

"Yousheng, sister is here to see you, please come out quickly."

Li Xia called Xiao Yousheng's name as she walked.

"Whose child is this? Why don't you take him home so late at night?"

As she was walking, she suddenly heard a sound coming from the alley next to her.

Li Xia bit her lip, "Child? Could it be Yousheng?"

She moved her mouth and muttered.

"Uncle, where is the child you just mentioned?" Li Xia walked into the alley and saw a middle-aged man. She blinked and opened her mouth to ask politely.

She looked around the uncle but didn't see any child.

"Oh, girl, you mean that kid? I was just about to ask him whose kid he was and send him back, but he ignored me and ran over there."

The uncle raised his hand and pointed in a direction.

Li Xia frowned and thanked him, "Okay, thank you, uncle."

"Yousheng, is that you? My sister is here, come out quickly."

She walked in the direction the uncle pointed.

Li Xia was worried that her footsteps would startle Li Yousheng, so she spoke softly as she walked.

When Li Yousheng heard Li Xia's voice, he widened his eyes.

"Yousheng, it's really you!" Li Xia saw a child standing still in front of her, and she took a step forward.
