The man lowered his head and said, "When you fall asleep tonight, I will enter your dream."
Ying Xixi choked, "You've been hanging around in my house all day?
Doesn't that mean you can see everything I do during the day?"
The man nodded and emphasized, "But don't worry, I didn't see your privacy!
Although I don't remember what happened before, I also know not to look at anything indecent."
"Okay, so did you enter my dream on your own initiative?"
“On the first night, I was attracted by your scent and came in unknowingly.
I came in on my own initiative last night."
The man said honestly.
"Then it's okay if you don't enter my dream, right?
The talismans in my room have no effect on you."
Ying Xixi tried to ask him.
Otherwise, she would have dreams every night, which would affect her sleep quality.
"No, it's dangerous at night.
If I don't stay in your dream, something outside the dream will kill me.
Also, the talisman paper in your room has no effect on me during the day, but it does at night.
I won't hurt you, don't worry, I just want to be a little closer to you, okay?"
The man had a nice voice, and there was a hint of flattery in his words.
"You just want to get close to me? You're not going to suck my energy and eat my flesh, are you?"
Ying Xixi asked specifically.
The man waved his hands quickly, "No, no!"
"Okay, then come closer."
After Ying Xixi finished speaking, she looked at the man in a white T-shirt and black pants walking towards her step by step.
The mist on the man's face dissipated little by little, and Ying Xixi could see his appearance clearly.
He has high brow bones, deep eyebrows, a straight nose, thin lips, excellent facial features, and a handsome face.
But his skin was very white, not pale, but almost transparent.
It should be said that the whole person is almost transparent.
This must be a ghost, only ghosts are transparent.
The man walked three steps away from Ying Xixi and stopped.
"Thank you."
"Is that all that's going to be?"
Now she and this man just stood there like this.
"It should be possible. I can feel your breath at this distance."
The man spoke softly, his eyebrows curved.
"My scent makes you feel good? Is it like incense?
Just as some living souls and other things consume incense to maintain their human form, is my breath like incense to you?"
Ying Xixi suddenly remembered this.
The man was stunned for a moment, trying to react to Ying Xixi's words.
He nodded hesitantly, "That's about right, your breath makes me feel very comfortable and allows me to maintain my current state.
I was completely transparent before, and no one without a living soul could see me."
The man said this, looking down at his hand which was only slightly better than transparent.
"Is that so? Then I'll burn some incense for you, and you try..."
Before Ying Xixi could finish her words, she woke up from her dream and became awake instantly.
She opened her eyes, the room was brightly lit, and there were birds chirping outside the window.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes. The dream ended too suddenly.
There was a feeling that at a certain point in time, she would immediately pop out of the dream and wake up.
Ying Xixi got up, washed, and went out. She looked up the nearest temple on her mobile phone, scanned a motorcycle, and rode over.
She went in to burn incense, bought a stack of yellow paper and a bundle of long incense sticks, bought some vegetables on the way home.
She eats alone, so making one vegetarian dish and one meat dish is more than enough.
After finishing her meal and washing the dishes, Ying Xixi opened the window of the room, placed the incense burner she had just bought on the windowsill, took out three incense sticks and lit them.
"Well, sir who came into my dream, this is the incense I lit for you, try to see if you can inhale it.
Regardless of whether you can smoke it or not, please give me a reaction.
Like, could you please blow up the curtains a little bit?"
Ying Xixi walked around the room with three incense sticks, muttering to herself.
She placed three incense sticks in the incense burner and stared at the curtains, waiting for the man's reaction.
But she waited for a while and didn't see any corner of the curtain being blown up.
Instead, he felt a chill on his neck.
The air conditioning came on suddenly.
In fact, apart from feeling the coldness in my neck, no other part of my body felt it.
Ying Xixi paused for a few seconds and reached out to grab the back of her neck.
I got nothing.
But when she grabbed it, the cold air disappeared.
The case is solved. The cold air is that ghost.
The two of them can only meet and talk in dreams now, so if they have anything to say, they should wait until the dream to say it.
Smoke curled up from the incense burner on the windowsill.
The smoke drifted out of the window, leaving only a slight smell in the room.
Ying Xixi watched the three incense sticks burn out, then turned on her computer tablet and started drawing.
The manuscript is due on Friday. Today is Wednesday, and I can submit it after working for a few more hours tomorrow.
Ying Xixi worked hard for several hours and saw that it was already past three in the afternoon.
It's almost time to eat again.
She stretched and yawned, then went out for a stroll, went to the snack street, bought a bowl of jelly, a roujiamo and a cup of milk tea and went home.
She didn't want to cook in the evening, so she ate these for dinner.
Ying Xixi took two bites of the roujiamo and suddenly felt the coldness on her neck again.
"Are you hungry too?"
She asked into the void.
