But he was betrayed, by his closest girlfriend and most trusted teammate. This was a huge irony for him, as if all his previous efforts had been a joke. He was exhausted and even felt that falling into Gu Qingqiu's hands was a relief.
"What methods do you have? Use them all. Electrocution or dissection? Give me a quick death." Lozen glanced at Gu Qingqiu, who sat elegantly beside him.
Unexpectedly, Gu Qingqiu shook her head, "I won't do that to you. You are crucial to my research, and your existence affects the future of humanity. I won't let you die."
Lozen snorted coldly, clearly not believing it, but he did indeed live quite comfortably afterward. Apart from having his mobility restricted, he did not suffer any inhumane treatment.
