Chapter 77 The Sticker Sorcerer Male Protagonist 3

"Nonsense!" King Chujiang shouted, "What are you doing in the mortal realm? Humans and ghosts are different; you are confusing the yin and yang!"

"Please, Daddy!" Gu Qingqiu pleaded, "I just want to see him. If he doesn't want to, I absolutely won't force him to do anything!"

"What else do you think he can do?" King Chujiang rolled his eyes, pressing his temples with his fingers, almost dying of anger. "I usually do whatever you want, but there's no room for discussion on this!"

Gu Qingqiu knelt down with a thud and insisted, "Daddy, I know I'm usually ignorant and have caused you a lot of trouble, but I'm serious this time! As long as you let me go, I promise I will never cause you any more trouble and will be a good ghost!"

King Chujiang was too lazy to say anything more. He raised his hand, and a gust of cold wind swept by, directly sending Gu Qingqiu out of King Chujiang's palace.

Gu Qingqiu was also very stubborn, and immediately ran back to the Chujiang King's Palace and knelt down.

The King of Chujiang sent him off again, Gu Qingqiu knelt down again, the King Chujiang sent him off again, Gu Qingqiu knelt down again...

Many people came and went from the Chujiang King's Palace, but Gu Qingqiu seemed completely unconcerned about their stares and persisted.

In the end, King Chujiang couldn't bear the loss of face, so he compromised, saying, "If you dare to cause any trouble in the mortal realm, I will absolutely disregard our father-daughter relationship and imprison you in the underworld for at least a hundred years."

"I promise I'll be good!" Gu Qingqiu blinked innocently twice. "Thank you, Daddy!"

King Chujiang sighed helplessly.

Strictly speaking, this was the first time Gu Qingqiu, who had lived in the underworld for thousands of years, had traveled far from home.

Although King Chujiang was angry, he still subtly instructed his advisor to tell Gu Qingqiu some survival rules in the mortal realm. For example, she should not get close to people who are dying, as this could easily cause them to be tainted by ghost energy and die prematurely. She should also not get close to infants and children, as they can see things that others cannot, which could easily leave them with psychological trauma.

And so, Gu Qingqiu embarked on the journey to the mortal realm alone.

There are only two kinds of places where the underworld and the mortal world meet. One is the Ten Palaces of the Underworld, and the Chujiang King's Palace is one of them. The first thing all ghosts do when they come to the underworld is to report to the Chujiang King's Palace. However, since the Chujiang King does not allow it, Gu Qingqiu can only go to the mortal world in another way—her tomb.

Fortunately, Gu Qingqiu had already walked the route from the Chujiang King's Palace to the cemetery once, so she was quite familiar with it.

Gu Qingqiu deliberately chose to go out in the evening, and by the time she arrived at the cemetery, it was just completely dark.

The cemetery is remote, with no lights around it. The wind rustles through the trees, making a sound that even sounds like a wail.

Gu Qingqiu felt goosebumps all over her body and had to mentally prepare herself before starting to look for the way down the mountain.

She's a ghost! She's a ghost! She's a ghost!

Gu Qingqiu silently recited the mantra three times to encourage herself, and then drifted down the mountain.

Perhaps because of her light body, Gu Qingqiu reached the foot of the mountain in less than half an hour and finally saw some signs of human habitation, but it was probably far from the city, as there were very few buildings around.

Qi Huaijin is not dead yet. The Book of Life and Death only shows that he lived in this area, but this entire area is nearly 100 square kilometers!

Gu Qingqiu didn't dare to go too far, so she could only search house by house within a one-kilometer radius of the foot of the mountain. For a moment, she even felt like a pervert or a thief.

Soon it was already dawn, and Gu Qingqiu dared not delay. She could only slink back to the cemetery, where she drifted off to sleep among the tombstones, waiting for the next night to fall.

Two weeks passed like this, and Gu Qingqiu felt that she was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

This place is so remote and desolate. Gu Qingqiu was initially afraid of encountering other little ghosts, but she hasn't seen a single ghost in all this time!

The male protagonist system went to a meeting again, and there was no one to talk to.

Gu Qingqiu felt like she was going crazy. If this continued, she might even start to doubt her own existence! Could she really be dead? Were her experiences in the previous worlds all just dreams?

Fortunately, one morning, when Gu Qingqiu was half asleep, she was woken up by a series of voices.

A pleasant male voice said, "This is the place. Goodbye."

Another male voice, sounding like a middle-aged man, replied in a fawning tone, "Yes...yes..."

Then came a series of kowtowing sounds, and the middle-aged man said again, "Master, I've returned the things, and I've paid my respects. Hopefully, this kind of thing won't happen again."

The man's voice sounded exceptionally cold, "Sincerity and regular offerings are what you owe them."

"Yes, yes, yes..." the man quickly agreed, "Then, Master Qi, I'll transfer the money directly to your card when I get back?"

"Hmm," the man replied indifferently, then turned and left.

"Hey! Master Qi, wait for me!" The middle-aged man dared not stay in the cemetery alone and quickly followed.

Master Qi? Could it be Qi Huaijin?!

Gu Qingqiu woke up instantly. There were only tens of thousands of people with the surname Qi within the territory under the jurisdiction of King Chujiang, so the possibility of him being the male lead was very high!

Ignoring the fact that it was already dawn, Gu Qingqiu immediately left the tombstone and floated towards the man who had already walked several hundred meters ahead. Fortunately, it was a cloudy day and the sun was not shining, otherwise Gu Qingqiu would definitely have gotten sunburned.

A black sedan was parked not far away. By the time Gu Qingqiu arrived, Master Qi was already elegantly seated in the back seat.

Gu Qingqiu stared at his face for a long time and thought that this must be Qi Huaijin, because he was so handsome. He had the standard male lead look—thick eyebrows, phoenix eyes, and a high nose bridge. However, his face and lips were very pale, and he looked like he was sick.

Wearing a black trench coat and a gray scarf around his neck, with his hands folded in front of him, his eyes were neither happy nor sad, revealing a cold and aloof demeanor that kept strangers at bay.

Gu Qingqiu nervously "sat" next to Master Qi and touched Master Qi's shoulder with her transparent hand.

It's the male lead! Gu Qingqiu felt relieved when she noticed the countdown had stopped for a moment.

Qi Huaijin seemed to glance at Gu Qingqiu beside him, but he quickly turned his head away and closed his eyes to rest, leaving Gu Qingqiu wondering if it was just her imagination.

The middle-aged man seemed quite intimidated by Qi Huaijin, because he drove diligently the whole way without daring to utter a single unnecessary word.

Silence spread through the workshop. More than an hour later, the car entered the bustling downtown area, where people and vehicles came and went in a lively manner.

Gu Qingqiu hadn't seen this scene in a long time, and couldn't help but lean against the window to look outside.

The car wound its way into a secluded alley and then stopped in front of what looked like a shop selling incense. The man turned off the engine. "Master Qi, we've arrived."
