Gu Yu spends all his time upstairs in Wei Ya's building, either being fed by him, taken for walks, or cultivating. He's starting to wonder if he's Wei Ya's pet.
Gu Yu was very frustrated. He looked at the chain on his hand, sighed, and decided that he could endure it for his master's sake.
"Little Guyu, what are you doing?" Wei Ya appeared on the stool next to her without warning, her eyes full of smiles and her tone slightly raised, clearly in a good mood.
Gu Yu was initially startled by him, but now she's gotten used to his sudden appearances.
"Staring blankly." Gu Yu glanced at him. "Didn't you say you were a god? How come it seems like no one knows you except my master and my master's father?"
“Don’t you know Gu Yu?” Wei Ya said with a smile.
"Stop talking nonsense." Gu Yu didn't even bother to look at him.
"Little Guyu, how long until you recover to your adult form?" Wei Ya asked curiously.
"What's it to you?" Gu Yu said lazily.
"How is this none of my business? I'm your master's good friend, so I should be considered your uncle-master." Wei Ya rested her chin on her hand, looked at his delicate face, blinked, and actually thought that this kid was getting more and more handsome.
"Are you my martial uncle?" Gu Yu raised an eyebrow and looked at him.
"Hey, I've taught you so much already, you're almost old enough to take over your master's job. So what if I become your senior uncle?" Wei Ya got angry at his look.
"No, I'm reflecting on it, and it seems I really should call you 'Uncle-Master.' It was my oversight." Gu Yu then looked out the window and said calmly, but a slight smile appeared on his lips.
"Uh..." All the words Wei Ya was about to say to him got stuck in her throat. "You're taking on the role of a senior uncle way too quickly. It's not like you at all."
What is my usual personality like?
"You're cold on the outside but warm on the inside, expressionless, and all your emotions are written in your eyes, but you often don't look at me when you talk, your tone is icy, and you talk back to me for no reason. I just can't connect you with being obedient." Wei Ya rolled her eyes.
Gu Yu turned to look at him, her big eyes fixed on him. "You really think so?"
"Uh..." Wei Ya was charmed by his big eyes and was speechless for a moment.
“I don’t have facial paralysis,” Gu Yu said.
"Then what should I do?" Wei Ya asked, somewhat puzzled.
Gu Yu pursed her pink lips, her eyes filled with a complicated expression. "I don't like to smile much. My master says I've always been like this since I was little, and no matter how she tries to correct me, she can't change it. But I can smile."
"You can laugh?" Wei Ya stared at him as if she had discovered a new continent and said, "Smile for me."
Gu Yu's lips twitched, and she rolled her eyes. "You think I can laugh just because you say so? If it were that easy for me to laugh, would Master have needed to put in so much effort?"
Wei Ya lost interest, turned over, and sat down against the table. "You, you can't stop talking about your master. Just like some people, when they're trying to reason, they can't forget their parents."
“My master raised me from childhood to adulthood, so of course he’s the one I talk about the most when it comes to things related to me.” Gu Yu didn’t think she was wrong at all.
“That’s true.” Wei Ya sighed. “It’s a pity that I have no parents, no master, all my skills are self-taught, and my intelligence is something I’ve earned through my own efforts.”
Wei Ya made herself feel pathetic.
Gu Yu is cold on the outside but warm on the inside, and easily swayed by emotions. Hearing what he said, Gu Yu felt a pang of sympathy and couldn't bring himself to say anything.
"Gu Yu, you still haven't answered me. How long will it take for the effects of this medicine to wear off?"
Gu Yu didn't hide it from him this time, saying, "There are still seven or eight days left."
"Hmm, it's still so long." Wei Ya sighed, "I'll go get you some food."
Gu Yu nodded. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." The moment Wei Ya stood up, she vanished without a trace.
Gu Yu looked in the direction he left, a hint of curiosity showing in her clear, dark eyes. From Wei Ya's words, she knew that this was not his true appearance. So what was his real appearance like?
I've heard that all nine of the Nine Divine Lords are extremely handsome, with his master being the most outstanding and Wei Ya being the next most handsome.
...
Xuanlan brought Qiao Qiu to the cultivation world, but no one could see them, and their cultivation was suppressed.
"Why did you bring me here?" Qiao Qiu asked.
"I'm taking you to visit the cultivation world. We've been staying in our own places before, so why don't we join hands this time and explore the world you used to live in? We can visit all the sights of the Upper Immortal Realm later when we return."
"This is great!" Qiao Qiu was overjoyed.
Xuan Lan was moved by her smile, the corners of his mouth slightly curved, and a look of deep affection appeared in his deep black eyes. "Qiu'er, where do you want to go for the first stop?"
"I want to go back to the sect to take a look," Qiao Qiu said, still worried about her few foolish disciples.
“Alright.” With a thought, Xuan Lan and his companions appeared in front of the gates of the Kunlun Immortal Sect in an instant.
Qiao Qiu flew inside and saw familiar people and things, feeling a sense of long-lost joy.
"Qiu'er, aren't you going to introduce her to me?"
Qiao Qiu pointed to Luoxia Peak and said, "That's my grand-disciple's territory. He usually manages the affairs of the outer sect."
Then Qiao Qiu pointed to the main peak and said, "That is the sect leader's residence, and also the place where everyone discusses important matters."
The two flew together, and Qiao Qiu introduced each person to the others one by one.
