Chapter 239 Slaying the Gods (Part 1)

Qiao Qiu looked at it and opened her mouth slightly. Such a rebirth from the ashes could only be compared to the phoenix.

The Vermilion Bird soared into the sky, full of new life, and like the Azure Dragon, it circled several times in the sky, seemingly happy to be itself again.

Qiao Qiu also felt a bit happier.

The ring beckoned, and the Vermilion Bird flew down, stood in front of Qiao Qiu, and lowered its head, saying, "Greetings, Master."

Qiao Qiu wanted to reach out and touch its head, but then she remembered that it had just been reborn from the fire and the temperature must still be very high.

"Master, you can touch it, it's alright," the ring said, sensing her thoughts.

Qiao Qiu smiled and touched the Vermilion Bird. There was no burning sensation on its head as she had imagined, only a warm and comfortable feeling.

"Suzaku, you have suffered."

"Being able to see my master makes everything worthwhile, no matter what happened before." The Vermilion Bird rubbed against her hand, then turned and flew into the sky, chirping incessantly to express its joy.

The ring smiled, its eyes crinkling. It turned to look at Qiao Qiu and said, "Master, let's go rescue the other two. I have something to tell you later."

"good."

The two continued walking forward.

After passing through the maple forest, the two headed up the mountain.

Beyond the fiery red maple forest, there are verdant green mountains, accessible only by a one-meter-wide path, flanked by green grass and trees, with occasional wildflowers, a delightful sight.

There are also old pine trees on the mountain, growing diagonally on the mountainside, looking quite old.

At first glance, it seems to be in the clouds, as beautiful as a painting.

This green mountain looks as if no one has ever been here, yet it also looks as if it has been washed every day; every tree and every blade of grass is so clean.

You can probably only see such an unrealistically beautiful scene here. In the real world, there would always be some dirt around.

They had only reached halfway up the mountain when Qiao Qiu was already panting heavily.

Ring walked ahead, and when he heard her breathing heavily, he turned around, grabbed her hand with his left hand, and with a wave of his right hand, a viewing pavilion appeared beside them.

The ring led her inside. There were many food items, tea, and fruit in the pavilion.

Qiao Qiu went inside but didn't eat immediately. Instead, she looked down at the maple forest, rockery, pond, and cherry blossom grove she had just seen. Only now did she realize that the house was actually located in the cherry blossom grove.

Vast expanses of cherry blossoms stretch for almost a thousand miles.

On the contrary, behind the pond, there was a long ditch, with many fruit trees planted on both sides, all of which were now bearing fruit.

Many of these fruits did not grow in the same season, yet they all grew exceptionally well in the same place.

Qiao Qiu's lips twitched. "This place of yours... is really like a hodgepodge."

Just as Ring picked up his hot tea, upon hearing her words, he dropped the teacup, turned around, and ran to hug the pavilion pillar, sobbing, "So heartbreaking..."

Qiao Qiu walked over, poured herself a cup of hot tea, and drank it. "But looking at the scenery from below, one view after another, it's truly amazing."

The ring stopped crying, ran to her, hugged her waist, and blinked, "Does Master like it?"

Qiao Qiu paused for a moment, not wanting to discourage him, so she nodded.

Seeing that she liked it, the ring jumped for joy.

Qiao Qiu smiled; compared to these, she preferred the little one in front of her.

After resting for a while, the ring led her a short distance further, until they arrived at a thousand-year-old pine tree.

Looking at this towering tree, Qiao Qiu suddenly felt a pang of nostalgia for the great tree she lived under in the demon realm.

The ring walked to the tree trunk, stood on tiptoe, pointed its finger at a spot, and muttered something. Suddenly, a white light appeared.

Qiao Qiu looked at the light and made a guess.

It should be the White Tiger.

Sure enough, a white shadow soared into the sky, solidified into a real form, and roared like a tiger, as if the entire mountain was trembling.

The White Tiger's roar was extremely long, and the Vermilion Bird and Azure Dragon below seemed to respond to it, uttering their own sounds.

Qiao Qiu was still protected by the ring. In this space, she was her original self, except that she had more knowledge in her mind and some self-defense skills, but she was extremely poor in other aspects.

After venting its anger, the white tiger came before Qiao Qiu and acknowledged her as its master.

Then the ring took Qiao Qiu into the valley and restored Xuanwu.

The mythical beasts had all recognized their master, and the ring then waved its hand to take her back to her room.

The ring looked at her, then at her finger. Now that it had regained its physical form, the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise had all been awakened. The diamonds were lit up, and there were still three left. Would these three go through three lifetimes?

It can no longer be guaranteed.

"Master, it's time for us to go to the next life."

Qiao Qiu stroked its head, "This doesn't seem like you at all."

"Why doesn't it look like me anymore?" the ring said, exasperated.

"You never urged me to go to the next life."

“Because I have a feeling that in the next life, Ji Rufeng will regain her complete memories.” The ring looked at her, its cute little face serious. “The next life will also be much more dangerous, because we will only be facing one world.”

Qiao Qiu was slightly taken aback. Before she could be overwhelmed with joy, her expression turned serious. "What world is it?"

"The realm of gods!"

The ring could sense different worlds approaching, but this time, after it awakened the divine beasts and completed the formation, the curse felt an unprecedented threat.

Therefore, it has made up its mind to perish together with them.

...

Under the bright sun, all the green grass and land are illuminated.

Above the bright sun, floating clouds fill the sky.

From the thirty-third heaven, celestial music could be faintly heard.

But high in the distance, above the clouds, it seemed as if thousands of troops were engaged in a fierce battle.

The moment Qiao Qiu regained consciousness, a long spear came crashing down on her head. She opened her eyes wide and spun around to dodge.

After turning around and realizing her predicament, Qiao Qiu had only one thought left—run!

Countless heavenly soldiers and generals surrounded her; if she wanted to escape, she could only flee to the mortal realm.

Without the slightest hesitation, Qiao Qiu made a hand seal and used the Ten Thousand Mile Escape Technique to instantly escape to the lower realm.

"Damn it, what kind of mess is this?!"

Waking up to this level of encirclement and slaughter, the curse is determined to kill her and then banish her soul.

Ten thousand arrows came chasing from behind. The ring came out, took shape, and blocked her back. It sneered, "Ignorant fools, how dare you show off such a low-level thing in front of me? Master, just keep going forward, don't worry about what's behind you."

"Okay." Qiao Qiu believed in the ring. Since he could take human form in this world, nothing could stop him.

With a wave of his ring, the rain of arrows falling from the sky stopped, but the heavenly soldiers and generals that followed caught up.

"Master, have you ever seen divine rain falling from the sky?"

"No."

"I'll show you." He twirled the little finger of the ring, and the arrows changed direction. He then swung his hand forcefully and shouted.

The arrows flew with even greater speed, cutting through the wind and hurtling towards the heavenly soldiers and generals.

Immediately, the heavenly soldiers and generals who could not stop their momentum were hit by arrows and fell down one after another.
