Chapter 273 Slaying the Gods (The End)

"Tsk tsk tsk, how pathetic, they don't even have a real face." Qiao Qiu shook her head and sighed.

The curse sneered: "I don't have a real face, yet I almost killed you, didn't I? By the way, you've seen my real face."

"Seen it before?" Qiao Qiu was taken aback. "When did that happen?"

The cursed man laughed, "Have you forgotten? When you were chased into Qiao Qiu's forbidden area by the dog, that box was my true form."

If this matter hadn't been brought up, Qiao Qiu would have suddenly remembered it. But as soon as it was mentioned, the memories from back then flooded back. She looked at the curse and said, "Don't tell me this has anything to do with you."

"Yes, it's definitely related to me. I sent that dog to chase you, otherwise how would you have ended up here? Hahahaha..." The curse laughed maniacally, "Qiao Qiu, I'm going to kill you. By the way, none of your ancestors died a good death, all because of me. Do you want to know how they died?"

Qiao Qiu's eyes flickered slightly. "Heh, you think I want to know? I don't want to know."

"You don't want to know because you're scared?"

Qiao Qiu crossed her arms and sneered, "Please, who's scared now? You've been rambling on and on since you came down, never getting to the point. Isn't it because you can't beat us?"

"Who says I can't beat you?" Curse's eyes turned cold.

Qiao Qiu asked, "Xiao Jie Ru Feng, are you ready?"

"alright."

"Go!" Qiao Qiu said, and charged forward with her sword in hand.

Ji Rufeng and the ring were both surprised by her speed, and then they rushed up after her.

Curse caught Qiao Qiu's sword, instantly exposing his lower body, allowing Ji Rufeng and the ring to thrust forward simultaneously. Curse leaped into the air, dodging the attack.

He then leaped down, and with a sweep of his sword, a streak of black light shot towards the three of them.

They didn't take the attack head-on, but instead retreated.

The black light swept across the ground with a bang, cutting a crack in the ground.

"Take another strike from me!" With that, Qiao Qiu swung her sword.

This sword strike was the same move she used in the previous battle. The sword energy surged forth like a giant wave, carrying an indescribable sword intent.

Curse laughed, not taking the sword strike seriously, and swung his own sword.

This sword strike was exactly the same as the one Qiao Qiu had swung, except that the once majestic strike had transformed into a surging, black wave that seemed poised to engulf a person, making it look extremely terrifying.

The two sword energies clashed, and Qiao Qiu's sword energy was dispersed. The cursed sword, though weakened, still hurtled towards them.

Ji Rufeng swung his sword, cleaving through the black waves.

Qiao Qiu sighed softly, "My skills are inferior."

“Master, you have done very well,” the ring said with a smile.

Ji Rufeng raised an eyebrow and looked at the ring. The ring looked back at him, but the meaning in its eyes was clear.

Ji Rufeng understood what he meant; he felt the same way.

Since both of them have the same idea, there's nothing more to say.

They couldn't bear to part with Qiao Qiu, so they decided to delay as long as possible and tell her what they had planned, so that they could die with the curse without worry.

However, if they are to drag this out for a while, one of them must go and fight the curse first.

The ring glanced at Qiao Qiu, then leaped into the air without hesitation, engaging the curse in battle.

The curse sneered, "You think you can fight me with such a tiny thing as you?"

"So what if it's just an object? An object can slowly wear you down." The ring argued with the curse, but its attacks were anything but sloppy.

Ji Rufeng glanced gratefully at the back of the ring, then looked at Qiao Qiu with deep reluctance in his eyes, "Qiuqiu."

Upon hearing his voice, Qiao Qiu felt a lump in her throat and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Qiuqiu, listen to me, we are spirits."

"What do you mean?" Qiao Qiu looked at him, somewhat puzzled, not quite understanding his words.

“The ring and I are spirits, so we won’t die so easily,” Ji Rufeng said.

Qiao Qiu held her breath, afraid of missing a single detail. "What do you mean?"

"That means we're fighting the curse to the death, but we won't necessarily die. Our spirits will drift in the real world, searching for suitable bodies," Ji Rufeng explained.

"Then what should I do?"

"Live well," Ji Rufeng said. "Live well and wait for us. But if one day you can't wait any longer, find someone you like and start a family."

Qiao Qiu bit her lower lip. She could clearly feel how much courage it took for him to say those last two words.

She couldn't cry; she knew this would be the outcome, didn't she? She had to carry on, carrying their hopes with her.

Ji Rufeng gently pecked her forehead. "Qiuqiu, I love you."

"I love you too." Qiao Qiu's throat tightened with difficulty. It was hard to say these words, but she still said them, afraid that she would never have the chance to tell him again.

Ji Rufeng smiled and said, "Your words are enough."

After saying that, he flew up and, together with the ring, fought the curse.

Qiao Qiu took two steps forward, and finally couldn't hold back her tears, which fell in large drops and hit the ground.

Ji Rufeng and the ring's magical power gradually changed from golden white to crimson red, the color of their combined power.

Qiao Qiu gripped the blood-dripping dart in her hand tightly; it was just given to her by Ji Rufeng.

Her gaze followed the two people in the sky, not daring to miss them even for a moment.

Their battle against the curse intensified, forming a battle circle around them.

This battle zone is isolated from the outside, as if another space has been opened up for the battle.

Qiao Qiu focused her eyes and clearly saw that Ji Rufeng and the ring were stained with red.

She clenched her fists even tighter, biting her lips until they bled, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. She seemed oblivious to the pain, her eyes never leaving her face.

Just then, Ji Rufeng and the ring's powers merged, their figures seemingly becoming one, transforming into a sword that pierced through the cursed body and shattered his soul.

With a loud bang, a burst of multicolored light exploded in the sky.

Suddenly the whole world turned gray, and the sky collapsed and the earth caved in.

Qiao Qiu could no longer stand. She tried to look up, but she could see nothing at all.

The ring on her finger made a soft click.

Qiao Qiu looked down and saw that the ring had shattered into several pieces and fallen into the deep abyss below.

There was still a little bit of food in her hand, facing her palm, that hadn't fallen, but her heart had already turned cold.

As her consciousness slowly faded, Qiao Qiu gripped the object in her hand tightly. It was her only obsession, and she wouldn't let go, even if it meant her death!

In the end, Qiao Qiu sank into the darkness, the blood-dripping dart in her hand emitting a faint light.
