Chapter One: Stealing the Ring

Indeed, besides standing in the room, Qiao Qiu also noticed a ring on her hand. She had seen this ring countless times; she recognized it as the one the female protagonist wore on her finger in every life. She knew without a doubt that it belonged to that woman.

She used to dislike the female lead, but this time, she has to thank her.

Qiao Qiu sat down, kicked off her shoes, nestled comfortably on the sofa bed, picked up the remote control, and turned on the 42-inch LCD TV in front of her.

The room had only two pieces of furniture: a white sofa bed and an LCD TV—it couldn't be simpler.

The first thing that appears when you turn on the TV is the audio.

Qiao Qiu pressed play, and a child's voice, sweet and innocent, rang out, "My master, you've finally found me."

"Found you? What do you mean?" Qiao Qiu sat up, her completely relaxed mind tensing up again.

"We've found you. You're currently in the 'ring space,' where you can escape the system's pursuit. You can stay here safely."

"Who are you?"

"I am a ring, and my master can call me Little Ring."

"Miss?"

"Owner!"

"Alright, alright, let's get down to business." Qiao Qiu found it a little funny to hear that the ring was angry, but she couldn't bring herself to laugh.

"Master, let me first explain the cause and effect. Your ancestors were given a cursed box. As long as their descendants touch the cursed box, they will be controlled by the curse and randomly teleported to various worlds, dying countless times. Until the controlled person's will is worn away, the curse will appear and actively devour that person. In order to break this curse, your ancestors learned witchcraft and created me, but I alone am not enough. Someone must be able to light up all the crystals on the ring in order to break the curse and return to the real world."
