Chapter 259 Slaying the Gods (Part 21)

Qiao Qiu looked at her with a deep gaze, "Seventh Sister, we are now the enemy of all the gods."

"What?!" Roland was shocked, released her hand, and took two steps back.

"How did that deity find you?" Qiao Qiu remembered that Ji Rufeng had placed a restriction on their small valley, and all the deities in that valley had been driven away. How could there still be a local earth god there?

Dong Yu was also extremely shocked. "It was me. When I went out to farm, I always heard someone calling me. When I turned around, it was an old man. He said he was the local earth god." Now that she thought about it, it seemed that there was indeed something wrong with it.

The Earth God stands far away; I've never come close.

They just told them that their eldest sister was in trouble and might not have much time left to live, then gave them an address and left.

Back when they were in the Three Thousand Lesser Realms, they were fortunate to have the protection of the Earth God, so they didn't think all the gods were bad. In particular, they had the most favorable impression of the Earth God.

Looking back now, it's highly likely they were used!

Roland's tears of regret fell even more like rain. They had already arrived here. What would happen to his elder sister?

"Roland, thank you so much for helping us break the barrier, hahaha!" A man's voice echoed freely in the valley, but he did not appear.

Ji Rufeng curled his lips coldly, "You scoundrel."

Dong Yu stepped back from a distance not far from Ji Rufeng and Qiao Qiu's rings, and looked at the child, "Yuan'er, come here!"

Dong Yuan was still young, just learning to walk, and had no independent consciousness. Hearing Dong Yu's voice, he turned around and took steps toward him.

"What are you going to do?" the ring asked.

Dong Yu picked up Dong Yuan and said to them, "I don't know if they've put anything else on us. I won't go near you. You absolutely must not become any medium they might use to harm you!"

After hearing his words, Roland wiped away her tears, turned around and walked to Dong Yu's side. "Big sister, you saved us, but we repaid kindness with enmity."

Qiao Qiu looked at the family and sighed softly, "I didn't mean to blame you, what are you doing?"

Dong Yu said, "This distance is the best. Judging from that voice, I think we definitely won't be able to get out. Since we can't do anything for you, let's leave it at that. It's good enough that we can see you."

As he spoke, he looked at Roland.

Roland looked back at him, saw the resolute look in his eyes, paused for a moment, then smiled and nodded.

"Hmph, you three weak mortals are only of some use for breaking the restrictions for us. What other purpose can you serve?" The voice appeared again.

"Third brother, you can't say that. After all, they're family. How could they not have some other purpose?" The voice was sharp and eerie, clearly not a good one.

"Second brother is right." The voice was neither male nor female.

Ji Rufeng rested his chin on his hand, glanced at the ring, and said, "Hey, son, why aren't you making a move yet?"

Ring's temper flared instantly, but he held back and moved to Qiao Qiu's side with a forced smile, "I have to protect my mother, you take over."

Qiao Qiu watched the two of them clown around, wanting to laugh but unable to.

She had control over her body, but some emotions were still not her own feelings, and she knew this perfectly well.

No matter how many lifetimes one has been reincarnated, the most comfortable feeling is always when returning to one's own body.

Qiao Qiu sat down again, her eyes sweeping over the Roland family. With a wave of her hand, they sat down around the table. She raised an eyebrow and smiled slightly, "Husband."

Ji Rufeng sighed, conjured a sword in his hand, and stood up.

Roland was a little worried. She looked at Ji Rufeng and then at Qiao Qiu, "Big sister."

The ring conjured a lollipop and held it in front of Dong Yuan, saying, "Little cousin, here you go."

"Ah...ah..." Dong Yuan couldn't speak, just babbling. When he saw the lollipop in the ring's hand, he reached out with both little hands to take it.

She placed the ring in his hand and said with a smile, "Don't bite it, it's a bit hard."

Qiao Qiu smiled at the two of them. She didn't even care about the ring, so what was she afraid of?

Ever since Dong Yu met her brother-in-law, she had always felt that he had the personality of a young master from a noble family, lazy and unwilling to do anything except for elegant things.

Now it seems he was wrong; his aura was enough to shake the heavens and the earth. Such a person, standing before his elder sister to shield her from all disaster, no wonder she was willing to follow him so devotedly.

Dong Yu turned to look at Qiao Qiu and was pleased to see that she looked completely at ease. The person they felt most guilty towards in their family was their eldest sister; their happiness put their minds at ease.

Ji Rufeng held his sword horizontally before him, golden sword energy swirling around it like smoke. "Hiding in the shadows, thinking you can hide from me? How naive."

"Impossible, how could you possibly see us?" the androgynous voice answered first. "Oh, you're trying to lure us out? As you wish."

Ji Rufeng pointed his sword backward, and a golden sword aura shot through the air, instantly reaching behind Qiao Qiu and lifting her hair.

"Ah!" A scream rang out, and dust fell to the ground.

"Sixth Brother!"

"Sixth Brother!"

Several people's voices appeared.

Qiao Qiu raised an eyebrow slightly. "I thought you were quite clever, but now it seems you're nothing special."

"What did you say?!" The invisible man, who happened to be right next to Qiao Qiu, was enraged.

With a flick of her wrist, Qiao Qiu unleashed a streak of red light.

A scream rang out, followed by a cloud of dust. Looking again at the red light, it was clearly a red sword.

The ring's eyes lit up, and it clapped its hands with a grin, "Mother is mighty!"

Little Dongyuan, unaware of what the ring was so happy about, started laughing along with it, babbling incoherently.

"Damn it!" The invisible man disappeared back into the shadows, no longer speaking and revealing his location.

Roland looked at Qiao Qiu in surprise; she had never seen such a decisive and efficient eldest sister as the Godslayer.

Although different from the gentle older sister of the past, Roland somewhat liked the current older sister. Sometimes, the way she raised her hand was so heroic and dashing, even more dashing than a man. In that instant, there seemed to be a kind of beauty that blurred gender lines.

Qiao Qiu withdrew her hand, and the red sword that had been hovering in mid-air disappeared.

"It's so obvious it couldn't be more obvious, even a child could see it, Xiao Jie, don't you think?"

The ring nodded with a smile, "Mhm. Those of you standing in certain southeast corners, don't be presumptuous, or you'll look bad."

The invisible man standing in the southeast corner was startled, thinking that he had not hidden something properly and that the ring had only been discovered by chance.

He didn't pay any attention to the ring, after all, the ring looked like it belonged to a seven or eight-year-old child.
