Chapter 24 The Nation's Male God Fell in Love with Me 24

Some of the girls around couldn't help but chuckle at Fu Sang's retort.

Lin Yiran dressed up in a very ethereal way for the role, making her stand out among these girls and a formidable opponent.

Aside from the female characters who help the female lead, all the other female supporting characters and cannon fodder characters hate the female lead.

Therefore, the girls in the waiting room also disliked Lin Yiran.

Seeing how 'tough' Fu Sang was, the girls actually developed a liking for her.

A moment later.

A staff member came out and said, "Please come in for your auditions."

"Together?" someone asked.

The staff member replied, "That's right, together."

The girls looked at each other, somewhat puzzled.

I've never heard of auditions being done together, but we all went in for auditions one by one with the staff.

The room was spacious, with a row of tables and chairs. Behind the tables sat important people such as the director and producer. The main director, Director An, sat near the center with a blank expression on his face.

There was an empty seat in the very center, which seemed to be where some important person was sitting.

Director An's gaze swept over the female artists.

His numb gaze paused slightly and brightened a little as it swept over Lin Yiran and Fu Sang.

A staff member stood to the side holding a cardboard box and said, "Those whose names are called, come up and draw lots."

"What are you trying to do?" a female celebrity asked, puzzled.

The staff explained, "You will draw lots one by one, and you will act out whichever scene you draw."

The girls' expressions changed.

Some people did their 'homework' beforehand, but they didn't expect to have to draw lots to perform. If they draw an unfamiliar plot, they're doomed.

There were seven people in total, including the girl who came in and Fusang.

Each girl received a piece of paper with the script's lines and dialogue printed on it.

The plot of the TV series "Phoenix Fairy" is roughly as follows: Sang Ji, a goddess, falls in love with the king of the demon race and later becomes a queen because of him.

This drama wasn't particularly difficult to act in; it had a touch of angst that was entertaining, and most of the story was sweet and saccharine.

However, even sweet storylines require acting skills; the actor must bring the character to life to truly resonate with the audience.

Fu Sang drew the storyline where Sang Ji had a falling out with the Demon King and returned to the Nine Heavens heartbroken.

This part of the story is a bit more difficult than the others.

She had to portray both Sang Ji's anger and sadness, as well as the bittersweet memories and reluctance she felt.

Just before the match begins.

The staff opened the door and respectfully welcomed in a tall, slender man.

"Mr. Xiao, this way please."

When they saw Xiao Mu, the girls couldn't help but show their surprise and delight.

Fu Sang was surprised to see Xiao Mu at the audition for "Phoenix Fairy". She blinked and followed his figure closely.

Xiao Mu glanced indifferently at the girls, and when he saw a certain cutie, he slightly curled his lips.

The girls blushed and looked at him with pounding hearts.

The staff led Xiao Mu to sit down in the middle.

Director An coughed lightly, drawing the girls' attention back to the present.

"Let's begin."

Fusang was drawn as the first to appear in the play order.

This order is neither good nor bad.

If someone is strong enough, they might completely overwhelm those behind them, making them pale in comparison.

If you don't perform exceptionally well, it's easy for the director to forget about you.

Fu Sang glanced at the lines a few times, and an idea flashed through his mind.

She gave a sweet and charming smile and said, "Teacher Xiao Mu, could I ask you for a favor?"
