Jun Li Ci drove along the post-apocalyptic highway, occasionally encountering wrecked or burning cars, and some zombies swaying about.
The car was going too fast; even the zombies couldn't keep up.
The climate was abnormal in the apocalypse; it was sunny in the morning, but suddenly became extremely cold in the afternoon.
Fortunately, as a zombie, Fu Sang was unaware of the changing weather. He was wearing comfortable casual clothes and playing the game console given to him by Jun Li Ci with his hands bearing sharp nails.
This is an old-fashioned game console, which is operated using buttons.
The game Fu Sang played was called Snake, where a snake keeps eating things within the screen area, and the more it eats, the longer its tail grows and the bigger it becomes.
A deafening clap of thunder suddenly shook the sky, startling Fu Sang so much that he dropped the game console from his hands onto his lap.
Jun Lici turned his head and glanced at her.
The zombie girl had her beautiful red eyes wide open, and her pale, pretty face showed an expression of fright, making her look exceptionally vivid and interesting.
Jun Li drove with one hand, picked up the game console, and handed it to her.
Fu Sang blinked and grinned at him.
When the zombie girl smiled, it looked a bit like the way a female protagonist in an anime smiles after she turns evil, possessing a strange kind of beauty.
Jun Li Ci's thin lips curved slightly, and he reached out to touch her head.
"Honey, we'll be there soon."
Yesterday at the gas station, there was very little gasoline left. I've been driving for seven or eight hours today, so I need to find a place to rest and collect some more gasoline for future use.
After taking back the game console, Fusang didn't continue playing. The sky was overcast, and large raindrops fell from the dark clouds.
The rain pattered against the car window, then trickled down its sides.
Fu Sang leaned against the car window, gazing at the desolate wilderness washed clean by the heavy rain.
The area around the highway was already sparsely populated, and now with zombies roaming around, there's not a soul in sight. The apocalypse makes people feel extremely depressed.
Half an hour later.
Jun Li drove the car to one of the cities on the way to Yaoyang Base and found a gas station to refuel the car.
By this time, the rain had stopped, and perhaps because it was getting dark, the atmosphere around them seemed a bit eerie.
The gas station was covered in bloodstains, human skeletons, and the skeletons of unknown animals, adding to the already eerie atmosphere.
After Jun Li Ci finished refueling the car, he returned to the driver's seat.
"I'll take you to play later."
Fu Sang looked at him with slight surprise.
Did I hear that right?
Is my little darling going to take her out to play?
This is the end of the world.
Night fell over the city, and the occasional streetlights flickered due to faulty electrical connections.
Jun Li Ci drove the car to the side of a building, parked the car, got out, walked to the passenger side, and opened the car door.
"Come here." He stretched out his long, strong arms.
Fu Sang hesitated for a moment, then reached out to let him hug her.
Jun Lici easily picked her up and carried her into the building.
The zombies seemed to smell the human scent, and they crowded out of the corridor, letting out strange roars as they pounced on the boy.
Fu Sang's pupils contracted slightly as he watched the zombies rushing towards him.
However, before the zombies could get close to the boy, the snow flew over and froze them all.
A person with superpowers does not have an inexhaustible supply of superpowers. Overuse of superpowers will lead to physical exhaustion, requiring the consumption of food or the use of crystal cores to recover.
